Mari groaned to him before tightening her grip on him, condescending her comment about wanting to get out of their cuddle- well, was it a cuddle? Or was it a hold. Seemed kinda like a squeeze. Whatever it was, she was enjoying it. It was nice. "Do I not get a choice in the matter?" She asked in a bit of a complaint, though it was clear she didn't really care too much... not at all, really. It was actually really quite wonderful. All of it. She then pouted. "Your lanky legs are the only things capturing me as of now, Sage," she amused to him lightly.

Sage gave the girl a grin at her question and shook his head cheerfully. "Nope," he chirped, eyes glittering with laughter. "You're mine now," he giggled mischievously. Then he gave her a grin. "Well these lanky legs, as you put it, are fully capable of holding you here for as long as I do please," he teased her lightly.

Mari huffed out a heavy breath to the boy. "Is this my life now?" She asked, moving to peck his lips lightly. "I'm just bound to being pinned to you forever?" She asked in a rather mallow dramatic tone. Well, even if that was her life, she had to admit, it wasn't a bad route to go down... she did like her cuddles, even if she chose to deny it so very much. "I don't believe that," she huffed. She did like the slight weight around her waist, though she couldn't explain why... not at all. "Am I just yours now?" She asked with a groan.

Sage grinned at the girl in response to her peck and nodded happily. "Yep," he chirped. "forever and ever and ever," he giggled. "We won't get up to drink, or eat, or use the bathroom ever," he went on sarcastically, really just having fun with all of it. They'd get up eventually, they both knew that, but for now they were having fun just messing around. Then he chuckled lightly and leaned forward to peck her lips gently. "You were mine the second you married me," he hummed lightly, in a bit more of a serious tone, though of course still having fun.

Mari groaned at his response but huffed out a breath and pecked his lips once more, then pressed a slightly deeper kiss to his lips with a grin. "So I'm not getting rid of you then?" She asked curiously, her voice going a bit higher. "I'm really stuck with you?" She then complained to him. Of course she didn't mean that... she really did like having him by her side. Or, in this cane, underneath her. She tried to sit up, but again his legs were wrapped around her so that she couldn't really move. "Was I now always yours, hun?" She then asked him with a childish pout.

Sage hummed lightly when she pressed her kisses a little bit deeper and then shook his head. "Nope you're stuck with me forever," he chirped happily, a slight giggle rising in his chest and bubbling out his lips quietly. Then he nodded. "Yep," he chuckled to the girl, giving her a comically wide grin. "Ever since that first date, I called you mine....we just made it official at the wedding," he mused lightly, his legs tightening around her slightly. Definitely not enough to hurt or be uncomfortable, though.

Mari chuckled lightly to him before shrugging. "We never actually officially went out, you know," she mused. "We had one date and I think we just assumed we were counting," she added with an amused chuckle. A very amused one... it was a bit strange. They weren't really dating or anything, if that was what you wanted to call it... they had Silas and then they'd kind of reserved themselves to one another. She wasn't upset by it at all.. it was more amusing than anything. "But ever since the first date?" She asked curiously, a bit of a smile crossing her face as she spoke to him.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment and nodded. "I know," he hummed. "Though asking you out that first time was plenty of work," he joked lightly. He did find the whole situation amusing, though he certainly wasn't complaining about how many of it had taken place. But he hummed lightly and released the girl, sort of just flopping his legs back down and wrapping his arms around her with a happy hum and a nod. "Ever since you agreed to a date, really," he admitted with a slight chuckle

Mari let out a sigh of relief when the boy dropped his legs from her side, and went to sit up with a bit of a stretch before flopping down next to him happily. "I was not work!" She told him with a laugh. "And if I hadn't said yes I think the doctor might have lethally injected me so I didn't have much of a choice," she then added with a chuckle. That was a joke... she would have gone out with him either way, even if she hadn't wanted to. But she was really just so, so happy with how things had turned out between them now. They had a little family... they were married, and working towards getting their own house together. She wouldn't have even imagined this nearly two years ago. "Mhm, so you claimed me since that moment? Jeez, Sage," she teased lightly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly and patted the girls back lightly. "Asking you out for the first time was plenty of work," he snorted, though rather in amusement. "I did like how it turned out, though, so I suppose it wasn't all bad," he mused lightly, really still just teasing her a bit. He chuckled at her comment about the doctor and shrug. "He'd have definitely scolded you within an inch of your life," he mused fondly. The doctor was a cranky old man sometimes, but he had a good heart, and sage had sort of come to like the scoldings the doctor was always willing to give out. He chuckled at her other comment too, and nodded. "Yup," he chirped. 'and it turned out quite well for me, might I add," he giggled.
