Mari chuckled and rolled her eyes at him, though it wasn't like he could see it. She pecked the side of his neck before nodding. Yes, his voice was always deep, and yes, it was all sorts rough... but now, in the morning, it was even more so... and the gentle crackled that erupted when he started a sentence sent a kind of shiver up her spine, although she couldn't quite explain why it did that. "Yeah, but this is... more so," she mused lightly. "Like a fire," she compared, though it didn't make that much sense.. she just meant that reminded her of a fire crackling away... somehow. It was an odd comparison, she knew that. She then nodded enough so he could feel the moment. "Mhm... very sexy," she told home with a small chuckle.

Sage couldn't help but chuckle at the girl's comments, and patted her back lightly when she agreed it was indeed very sexy. "Well if I keep talking, what am I going to get out of it, hmm," he asked lightly, really just joking around and reading the girl now that he was pretty much awake. But, hey, if he got a few kisses or something like that out of the joke, he'd definitely take it. He did like those. Well, he liked anything the girl did, but still. "Talking takes energy, you know," he added on with a slight giggle.

Mari sat back just a tiny bit before humming thoughtfully. "Oh, but Sage, is my love not enough?" She asked, moving her arms one more so she was sorta straddling him and leaning on her forearms. "I just promised my life to you... surely you could let me have this one, hm?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle, knowing there was a fat chance of that happening, and certainly wouldn't mind. They didn't have to do much, but the little kisses and poked and the likes were fun. "Are you not fully energised from having your wonderful, caring, loving, and might I say absolutely gorgeous wife sat on you?" She asked with an amused giggle.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comments and raised his eyebrows slightly. "Isn't the point that you like my sleepy voice," he chuckled lightly. "Not you trying to wake me up?" He grinned up at her happily, most definitely up for some teasing and fun. "Though I must say I do quite like you up there," he mused.

Mari pouted at him before hugging out a breath. "You said you wanted incentive to keep on talking," she prompted with a bit of a smirk. "So... is your wife up here, where you like her, not enough?" She asked with a bit of an amused chuckle. She then wrinkled her nose a little bit at him before humming. "Though, I couldn't ever imagine why you'd like me here," she wriggled back and fourth after a or two to get comfortable, a teasing grin on her face. "Though, I would be appreciative if you could hold onto that cilice for just s little bit longer," she chuckled to him happily.

Sage chuckled lightly, shifting slightly to stretch a bit before settling down again and shrugging. "I suppose that'll do the trick," he mused, a smile twitching at the corner of his lips. He chuckled again when she wiggled back and forth, and then shifted slightly to wrap his legs around her waist, a grin sliding into his face. "Well I do like it, and now you're stuck here," he giggled lightly, really just joking around a little bit. "So don't worry, that cliche isn't going anywhere," he mused happily.

Mari squeaked when he wrapped his legs around her, moving to push away from him but found that she was, like he said, stuck there. She groaned and moved to flop her head down next to him. "That's not fair," she complained to him with a bit of a pout. She then wriggled about to get away from him, and again, it simply didn't work. She huffed and just went limp. "Don't look so proud of yourself," she groaned to him after a moment or two.

Sage grinned over at the girl happily when she tried to wriggle away and couldn't. He giggled lightly and leaned over to press a kiss to the tip of her nose happily. "Oh, but I thought you like cuddling," he teased the girl lightly. "It completely fair! You do it to me all the time," he chirped happily, still quite obviously joking around with the girl. It was a bit hard not to look proud of himself too, so to mess with her he let it show happily. Though, soon enough his normal dumb grin took hold of his face as he teased the girl.

Mari hummed lightly to him, an amused look across her face even if she was trying to look mad. "I like cuddling when I'm not forced into it!" She told him with an amused chuckle before shaking her head and stirring up to look at him with a childish pout across her face. "I do it to you because you could move me if you wanted," she huffed to him with a chuckle, her fasaud of being annoyed really not working too well for her. She liked teasing like this... just the little messing around and banter that went on between them was fun... exciting to some extent. Even if it was all just play.

Sage chuckled lightly and gave the girl a wide grin. "Well I like my cuddles, so you're staying here for a while," he chirped, still teasing the girl happily. She didn't really mind, and he knew that, which was why he still had a hold on her. He chuckled lightly at her other comment about him being able to move her if he so pleased and nodded happily. "All the better to capture you with," he all but cackled, eyes glittering happily. He did enjoy mornings like this....lazy, but also fun. Well, he enjoyed any times like this, but this was nice to wake up to. Almost as nice as waking up to kisses and breakfast in bed, which had only happened once or twice.
