Kayla took a good, long look, and shook her head.

He shut it back, locking it as he turned at the other end of the hallway, handrprints and drag marks of dark red leading to the room. "This is the only one left." My vision still remained black and everything was silent, I couldn't feel anything except for the unbearable pain, even while knocked out. "It's just a little bit gory," The man warned, pushing the door open to reveal Gale, back a...well, i'm not going to describe how it looked---cut open, and out like a lightbulb. Minus about forty pounds, as well, skin and bones.

Malakai kept repeating himself, reaching for his father. "Daddy Daddy" He burbled over and over. Kayla tried to wake Gale still. "C'mon, we need to go"
