"You could go with me, or... sit on the cold hard floor instead. Either option is fine but, A is a good one." Caden chuckled.

"I didn't know if you wanted time away from me... My ex and his friends always did, I just assumed you wanted your own time too..." She said, confused. In reality, she had no clue what a healthy relationship was and how it should go, so she was going off the toxic ones she'd had before

"If I could, and I didn't have idiot clients every day, i'd spend all time I could with you." Caden noted, leaning on the doorframe.
