Lorelei smiled softly. "Yes, baby. And if you really don't want me to have your last name, I can be a Bonetti-Vitteli,"

"No, I want you to be Lorelei Vitelli...But I just don't want to eventually end up acting like my father...I don't want to hurt you, Lorelei"
| |

Loreleis gaze softened. "You won't hurt me, baby, I know you won't,"

"How can you know that? My father is likely the worst man alive. He took advantage of you, Lorelei, and you would have died! How can I know that in my genetics that I will be a good husband or even father to our children?" He asked, panicing as he got in and buckled before driving them both home

Once they were parked in their driveway, Lorelei leaned over, cupping his face. "Honey, youre nothing like your father. He is an awful person, but that isn't passed down through genetics, love. Youre amazing to me, and I know you will always be more than I deserve and you will be a wonderful father to our kiddos,"

"I don't know how to explain to you how much I hate myself, baby" He said softly
| |

Loreleis eyes softened. "Kai, you don't know how much it hurts to hear you say that. What your father didn't isn't your fault. You're a wonderful, kind, considerate, gentle person. You protect me with your life, and you deserve so much more than this,"

"How can you love someone as horrible as me?"
| |

"Youre not horrible, you're the love of my life. You're a kind, loving person, youre the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm proud to call you my boyfriend,"

"You'll call me more than that soon enough" He said, breaking out a soft smile and grabbing her door
