Sage just nestled in for a while, happily picking at food. (We can pm some ideas and stuff, I'm heading off for the night tho probably lol)

Remy pecked his head and smiled. (What if Remy starts getting sick after he doesn't go into the water for a few days for some reason, so they figure that out, and realize Remy really shouldn't be living on land, so Remy discovers a spell to temporarily turn Sage into a merman so that they can be together, but he casts the spell wrong and turns Sage into a merman permanently)

Sage eventually grew full and set the tray to the side, but stayed in remys arms. (That would work! They'd have to figure out how to navigate in the new environment and all that)

Remy coughed harder into his elbow. "Yeah, I'm okay," he rasped.

Sage frowned as his coughing just worsened, but nodded, handing him some water. "Why don't you rest today," he suggested.

Remy nodded, "Okay," he sighed, sipping the water.

Sage just moved to slide his prosthetic back on, so he could grab the tray and bring it back to the kitchen before coming back to Remy and curling in again with a sigh.

Remy coughed got progressively worse throughout the day, a headache coming along halfway the day.
