Alora listened tentatively and curiously. "That sounds really nice..." she replied. Kai smiled. He'd been there, and it was really beautiful there. The Night Kingdom had been left in ruins from his father's lack of funding to the general public, but Kai was working to get the streets cleaned and pretty once again. "Do you know why our kingdoms fight so much?" Alora asked tentatively. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery nodded to her. It was nice. There'd not been a moment when she hadn't appreciated the beauty of it all... the people all blended perfectly with their surroundings, most of them having a similar golden brown hair colour that she had, and they all seemed to glow just like the stars above. It was ethereal. She furrowed her brows softly at her next question, though. "It was because of a feud that happened centuries ago," she looked over at Malakai, though. "I don't think we know why we fight anymore," she murmured. She bit the inside of her lip, though it soon turned into a pout. "I think it's going to change in the next few years, though," she chirped hopefully, looking over at Kai with a smile. |

Alora nodded. No one had ever wanted to fight, no one but their father. Malakai smiled at Camery. He was really trying to stop this war. Alora saw the tension between the two of them. She was very much a matchmaker. Alora stood, taking her tray with her, "I should go," she said, winking at Kai before slipping out of the room. |

Cam smiled lightly and waved the girl off as she left. She was a nice girl... she did seem a little more shy than Duncan was, but sweet all the same. "She is very cute," she chirped to Malakai. "She remindes me of you, you know," she than added with a bit of a chuckle. Only, the girl didn't have as much riding on her shoulders as of then. |

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled at Camery and reached out, holding her hand. "Yeah, sometimes a little too much like me..." he muttered, pursing his lips together. He was referring to that his father did the same thing he'd done to Kai, to Alora while he was away. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery wrapped her fingers around his hand happily, although caught herself staring at their hands for a moment, his hands wrapped in black tattoos, and her own hands adorned by the soft golden lines. They swirled together seamlessly. She did hope this whole war thing would come to an end sooner rather than later... it was all getting a bit much for her now. Her parents had to give in, though, and once she went home to explain it all, she was sure they would. Kai had taken her in and looked after her much longer than he'd had to. She shook her head softly to him, squeezing his hand softly. "None of you deserve what he did, Kai," she whispered softly after a moment. He couldn't get to any of them anymore, but she wished it hadn't happened to start with. "Is she okay?" She asked worridly. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery nodded to him, her humb running gently over the back of his hand. "Bless her," she murmured softly. She still didn't understand how someone could be so vile to their own children. How they actually wanted to hurt them. She sighed softly, and gently patted his side. "At least he's gone," she muttered quietly. She hated that someone thought to hurt her... she was really sweet. "Is there anything else you want today? I don't think there's a lot you can do right now," she murmured softly. |

Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded, "No, I'm good. Could you just stay though?" he asked. He didn't really want to be alone right now. He'd been alone a little too much for his liking recently. |

Camery Valatieri - Cam nodded lightly to him, though gave a playfully disgruntled groan when he asked her to stay. "Finee," she mused lightly to him. She sort of moved to get comfortable at the end of the bed, where his legs had been suspeneded. She sat cross-legged between them, since perching on the side of the bed was becoming a bit of a plain. "You not heard anything about who shot you yet?" She asked curiously. She was starting to miss her family, now... and people were still pretty convinced it was her. |
