Ryker laughed with a fake evil sound before flopping back, staring at the ceiling of the barn. As Abby threw a blanket over him and spoke he snorted slightly but didn't protest. He knew he was going to fall asleep in a couple seconds anyway. Approximately 5.3856383 seconds after closing his eyes he was out like a light. |

Abby shook her head slightly when he fell asleep. She closed her eyes but couldn't sleep. She peeked down at the ring. +Abby and Ryker sitting in a tree+ she thought with a smirk. +can't believe it... I'm engaged to the greatest man in the world. He fought for me, he protected me, he helped me build this place... he's just perfect+ with that, she could finally rest peacefully, knowing for a fact that her future was going to be perfect (this is always about the time in a book that something would soon go very wrong lol let's NOT do that please!) |

+++ Ryker was dead asleep till morning, and he barely shifted an inch all night. That was just how he slept. As the sun shone through the barn door and managed to bend its way up into the loft at just the right angle to hit his face, he groaned slightly and rolled over, burying his face in the hay. "Too early..." he mumbled. |

(Hmmm... fine, night after the night of the wedding DRAMA WILL STRIKE MUAHAHAHAHAHAH) (awww yeaaahhhh...) +++ Ryker let out a huff of air as he got kicked. "Pfft..." He murmured before slipping into a dead sleep again. A total of almost 4 HOURS later, around 10 AM, he finally dragged his brain out of a very disturbing dream. He reached up one hand and dragged it down his face. |

(But WHYYYYY) - Abby woke up a whopping five minutes after she had gone to sleep again. She noticed Ryker was asleep AGAIN. "Am I seriously THAT draining?" She whispered as she untucked herself and scooted to the ladder. She peeked over to see that the horses were still asleep. (We'll just say they wandered back to their own stalls) Abby creeped down the ladder, pulled on her boots, then walked up to what was left of the house. "Oh no..." she mumbled when she caught sight of the remains of her painting. "Oh..." all that was left was a hoof. Abby sighed and sat down on a lone chair, staring off into he distance for about three hours, thinking about how she would want the house redone. She stood and started walking around, trying to reimagine where the walls were. |

Ryker fully awoke after a little bit, sitting up to find Abby wasn't there. So he rolled out of the hay and pulled on his boots, climbed down the ladder, and walked over to where he saw her sitting at the house. "You good?" he asked, glancing at the wall and noticing the hoof. "Oof- sorry your painting got ruined." Ryker said quietly, drowsiness showing in his voice. |

"It's ok. It's just thirteen beautiful hours lost. I can do it again" she said, a hint of pain in her voice. She sighed as she stood, walking over to Ryker. "There's nothing we can do about it..." she lowered her eyes to the ground. Abby shrugged then grabbed his hand, placing her left hand over his right one. "The ring is beautiful " she said, leaning her shoulder against his arm and putting her head on his arm |

Ryker furrowed his eyebrows slightly in his signature *I'm worried about you* look, and frowned. "I'm really sorry your painting is ruined. But you're right, you are amazing and you CAN do it again, better than last time." He said quietly, trying to reassure her a little. He smiled faintly at her next words. "I'm glad you like it." He mumbled quietly, putting an arm around her. |
