Rose slept until around dinnertime. She walked downstairs, beginning to make chicken Alfredo. Once she finished, she knocked on Caden's office door, plate of food in her hand.

He stood, taking the plate from her and pecking her temple. "Thanks, babe. I'm gonna eat at the table though, how about you make your plate and do so?" Caden suggested, guiding her towards the kitchen.

"I didn't know if you were just gonna work or come out and eat and I didn't wanna bother you too much." She explained quietly, walking with him

"Finally got everything wrapped up so, i'm yours for the next couple of days." He explained, glancing over with tired eyes before taking a bite. "Holy hell that's good,"

She smiled softly. "I'm glad." She said, plating her small portion and packing up the rest, placing it in the fridge, adn sitting down to eat with him. "Anything new or exciting?"

"Nope, everything's the same old boring stuff." He explained, sighing as he ate.

She nodded and finished, taking in her plate and then his once he was done. "Where do you wanna go or do?" She asked softly, straddling his lap on the chair
