Mari pouted at him with furrowed brows. "I don't get mad," she joked before shaking her head with a soft sigh. "You, however, are terrifying when you're mad. It's quite funny," she mused happily. She then gave a bigger smile. "Yeah, though you don't ask for cuddles, do you my love? You just barge in an demand them," she mused lightly. "Not that I'm complaining, though... I just thought it was really very sweet," she babbled happily to him. She did, too... he didn't ask for much, so when he wanted a few cuddles, it was really quite difficult to say no.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's first comment...it really did seem to be true. She never seemed to get mad about anything or anyone, which was almost odd to see, since he was used to everyone being mad about everything and fighting over it. He couldn't say it wasn't a good change, though, and he supposed he should be getting used to this now, after all this time. But instincts he learned years ago still dwelled in his head, making that rather difficult. He gave the girl a grin when she said he begged in and demanded cuddles, bobbing his head up and down happily. "And you're always more than happy to give said cuddled," he chirped. "So really I'm helping everybody," he hummed happily.

Mari smiled happily to him before nodding and starting to tread water. "You're right... I do love a cuddle," she mused happily, moving over towards him and poking his side as he floated along. "Especially from you," she giggled lightly to him, her eyes bright and looking more than happy. It was warming uploads now... she was really quite satisfied with it all. She was happy to have him around her... to have him as he husband. She loved him more than anything, and there wasn't really a chance she could get any happier now... this was all just too amazing.

Sage chuckled lightly, though yelped in surprise when she poked him, her touch making him squirm away from her slightly. He floundered in the water for a moment as he moved to tread water after losing his ability to float, then grinned over at the girl happily, bobbing his head in agreement. "I'm the best person to cuddle with," he giggled, sticking his head out to peck the girl on the nose happily. He was definitely proud of how this was all turning out...he was certainly glad hed managed to propose, ask her out, find this place...all of it. It all just seemed so worth it now. At the time, they were sort of terrifying ideas, but now he was really quite glad he'd sucked it up and gone for it. Because he couldn't imagine his life without her, or Silas for that matter.

Mari hummed lightly to him before giggling at his little movements. "You are amazing to cuddle with," she hummed happily. When they were tired, and had a long day, all she could think about was how much she just wanted to curl up into his side and be able to rest for a little while... it didn't have to even be going to sleep. Just relaxing and talking to her husband for a little while was absolutely amazing in every single way. "You're a lot better to cuddle with now compared to when you first got here, at least," she teased lightly to him, her face lighting up when he pecked her.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comment, giving her a wide grin. At her next comment though, he snorted out a laugh. "When I first got here I was practically unconscious," he noted with amusement. "I don't think anyone would want to cuddle with that." Then he grinned. "I still don't know why you decided to continue being nice after I was such a brat," he chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Not that I'm complaining," he mused lightly. "But I still think you're just a little bit crazy for getting in this deep with me," he hummed with a shrug, though he still had a wide smile across his face. He certainly was glad she'd decided to get to know him better though, more than he could say.

Mari nodded with a bit of a laugh before nodding happily to him once more. "I haven't a clue. But I don't remember being particularly nice to you," she mused lightly before slowly shaking her head. "At the start, actually. You really annoyed me," she admitted slowly before shaking her head a little bit, a smile still across her face. "Buuut, I needed a job and I think the doctor would have killed me if I wasn't nice to you," she told him with a bit of a hum, swimming a tiny bit closer to him so that she could peck his cheek.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comment, grinning over at her when she pecked his cheek. "I annoy most people at first," he chuckled lightly. "And you were always nice," he snorted. "Even if I snapped at you, you'd still make sure I cleaned my wrists off right, remember," he asked with a cocked head. Then he shrugged slightly. "If looks could kill, then he might have killed you," he chuckled. "His disapproving glare can make the queen shake in her boots," he giggled.

Mari hummed with a bit of a nod, her eyes bright as they spoke. In truth, she might not have put up with him so much if it weren't for the good old doctor... but she certainly was glad to have him here, with her. Always at her side, even if she didn't feel like she needed it... she'd always be grateful for it. "I can certainly see why," she mused lightly to him before shaking her head. "I suppose... you always hated me doing that. I could never figure out why," she mused to him, a kind of laugh escaping her. "And I can't even remember the point were we actually decided we were going out," she added with a bit of a laugh.

Sage laughed again and shook his head in amusement. "I liked it...I was just didn't have the balls to try and get into any sort of relationship at that point," he admitted with a chuckle. Then he wrinkled his nose in thought. "I'm ninety nine percent sure I accidentally blurted it out while we were in bed st some point," he informed the girl, still really just amused by it all. "then the doctor took over and we had no more control over that date," he chuckled.
