Rose woke the next morning (Idk what day it is lol) and got up quickly, slightly fearful until she recognized Caden

Caden still remain asleep, entering a slight nightmare.

She kissed his cheek and headed to the kitchen, making breakfast

The snow was suffocating, building up in layers around him. Caden was trapped. Izza was on the other side, yelling at him to help. His breath came quick and short, feet frozen to the ground as he tried to get to her. Her scream rang out, the sound just as he remembered it, followed by his father's cackle. ~~~ Caden jolted awake, eyes wide as his chest heaved with each breath. His gaze darted around, Rose in the kitchen, Murphy curled up on the couch, in his house. Not outside the dump he grew up in. His breathing slowed, though he was still shaken as he pulled his boxers and sweats on. The man picked his shirt up off the ground, setting it on the table as he remained silent.

She saw Caden's distress and hurried over to him. "Something wrong?" She asked quietly
| |
| |

"Memory, is all." Caden explained softly, offering a soft smile as he went and brewed himself a coffee.

| |

"yeah? Wanna talk about it or ...?" She asked softly, wrapping her arms around him and weaseling to his front to peer up at him with a grin
| |
| |

"Not really," Caden muttered, taking a sip of the drink before setting it back down.
| |
| |

"Okay" she chirped, rubbing his back. He was so much bigger than her but she tried her best
| |
| |

"God you have no clue how happy I am to have you back," Caden grinned, arms sliding around her waist.
