Emery overheard him, just chuckling in response. "I'm not grumpy, just tired.I see why you'd consider it grumpy, practically the same thing." She shrugged, opening the door to get coffee.

Noah Carpenter - Noah got dressed and walked over to her, kissing her head. "Right, just tired,"

"Exactly," She groaned, pressing a kiss to his lips before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Shit I actually have to go to class in person today." Emery complained, heading into her room to change into something presentable.

She eventually came back, tired from class and taking too many useless notes that were required but, she'd have enough energy for Noah. "Hey babe," Emery called as she walked in, setting her things down on the nearby table.

Noah hadn't had any classes today, so he spent the day working on his new project. The assignment was to create a portrait of someone, using bright colors in oil paints. Naturally, he did Emery. And on a really large canvas. He wasn't done yet, so he covered up the painting with an old table cloth so it would be a surprise for her. There was paint in his hair, on his face and all over his arms as he washed his paintbrushes in the kitchen sink. "Hey, baby," he replied, smiling over at her when she came back.
