(you're all good) Sage hummed softly and shrugged. He'd take what she said...he couldn't believe all of it, but she did so he'd believe she believed that. It was better than nothing, he supposed. |

At least I hope, she thought, unsure of her words she had spoken just moments ago. Elara listened to the crack of the fire and Varys's panting, fading the sounds to her background as she thought. The woman wasn't sure if Sage would believe her, or even want her support in the first place. |

Sage settled down by the fire, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he felt himself relax. It wasn't often he could do that, he supposed.... normally he was too keyed up. But for whatever reason, he felt...safe here. Well...safe enough to relax a little bit anyway. He was scared about Amy but he knew they'd figure it out. |

Elara surveyed Sage for a moment before glancing away, fiddling with a old, rusty, and very dull blade she had carried on her, it being one of Nate's, her only memory of her old lifestyle. She missed it, in ways. Being able to ding a bell and have food prepared and served to you instead of having to scavenge for it, never running out of money, no dangers, and having Nate and Dorion. She missed Dorion especially, not seeing him and having a picnic or something on one of his days off. Her stupid father, really beleived she was going to put up with him for the rest of her days. As if, she'd rather be stuck in a barn for the rest of her life than see him ever again. |

Sage glanced over at her, noting the knife she held. "I could sharpen that up for you, of you want," he offered, knowing she liked her life before. Her father made it difficult but she had friends. Family. Even if one person was bad. "You should visit them," he noted after a moment. Once Amy was gone...they wouldn't have immediate dangers. She could go out and see her friends or her brother for the day. |

Elara thought of his offer for a moment, deciding. "No thanks, it was Nate's, he had it since he was six before he gave it to me." She said with a soft smile, remembering him as one of the only things she enjoyed. The woman thought of Nate, of her handsome older brother heading off to marry some other princess to bring allies to the kingdom. "No, I'd have to do it in hiding. Since I ran off they've doubled the guard, and even with making myself unreckognizable in the face, they can pick me out in a crowd. It's the way they train you to walk and to do everyday tasks as a royal, you never forget the ways." |

Sage nodded in response to her comment. He understood it...she didn't want it to change. "Well ...they could come here, if you think you can trust them," he noted. "I mean, your brother was in on sneaking you out anyway so I doubt he's going to tell anyone where we're at," he reasoned. "Or find a spot in the woods to meet up." There were always ways to do that sort of thing. |

"If he hasn't been shipped off to marry some girl in another kingdom for allies." She noted with a roll of her eyes, knowing the system was stupid. "If Dorion is still a knight, I really do hope he can come." Elara mused with a bit of a lighter tone, thinking of her former lover. |

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly but nodded. "I'm sure he would come visit you, no matter how far away you were," he noted. 'If he's a king he can do what he wants anyway," he pointed out with a sort of chuckle. "But it would be good for you to see them," he added softly. |
