I will definitely look into it! Thanks for the recommendation!

Bird -Click- I believe it was this one but I could be wrong. Like I said it was a sample sent to us lol. They all work the same though no mater the brand
Lacy Sky Ranch
Possibly, I just don't know if the plant would grow with those. I'm a fairly new plant mom 😂

Gladius Its kind of the opposite of normal scooping because the pee turns the pellets to saw dust so you are actually sifting out the good pellets and what is left behind is the saw dust you throw out. Then it is good to get a special scoop with bigger holes for the poop to be sifted out and the pellets fall through

i have never owned a cat in my life but what about like a bunch of large pebbles on top of the dirt?
Lacy Sky Ranch
Angel, right! I saw someone say plastic forks but I could see him just pulling those out with his mouth.
Angels angels
Lacy Well not like sharp spikes but plastic ones maybe just so it doesn't feel good for him to mess with it lol
Gaelic Gladiacres
angel - ugh right?? haha I'll have to keep that in mind, I *just got a new order of litter so it'll probably be a couple months before I swap haha does it scoop just the same as with regular litter?
Angels angels
Bird Oh yeah it clumps sooo much better than the claym thats why I think it could be good with him stepping in it. It immediately turns into a solid clump and is basically dry
Lacy Sky Ranch
Angel- I've definitely considered spikes of some sort I just don't want to hurt him. But maybe he'll get the idea before it actually hurts
Angels angels
Gladius I would definitely give the pellets a try. I literally buy mine at tractor supply, the big bags for horses. Its $7 for a huge bag and it lasts like a month and a half. And like I said smells amazing and zero tracking around the house. That is the main reason I switched. I was so tired of my bed and floors being covered in litter
Angels angels
Lacy Yeah my cats don't care about foil either lol What about spikes or something sticky? XD
Gaelic Gladiacres
angel - totally fair yeah, the clay stuff is all I've ever really known for cats (the various bedding types for horses, on the other hand... x-x) so I've been hesitant to try changing
