(On/off. This paragraph kept stacking up until it got this long lol) She sighed and looked at him, love written in all her features. She put her dishes into the dishwasher before going over to the couch and sitting with a sigh. She felt so overwhelmed these days, but all she was doing was carrying a tiny human inside her. She chuckled at the thought, knowing she was just kidding herself. When the baby finally comes, their lives would shift. A lot. Sheworried about the horses' reactions when she comes home with a baby. She didn't know how they would act. They would need to be more gentle around him, that's for sure. She wasn't worried about Kingston, he seemed gentle enough to be trusted around the baby. She sighed again, getting up and walking to the bedroom. She felt like all she ever had enough energy for was sleep and eat, but she wouldn't have much time to do either when the baby would come.

Elijah watched her, the love in his heart swelling at the sight of her, carrying their little one with such grace, even as she seemed to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders. She looked so beautiful, even in her exhaustion. He could see it in the way she sighed, the way she moved, that she was feeling the strain of everything. He followed her with his eyes as she walked to the bedroom, her movements slow, deliberate. And if there was anything he could do to make things easier for her, he would. He wished he could take on some of the weight she was carrying, but he knew that, in the end, it was their shared journey. "Hey," he called softly, his voice filled with understanding, "come here for a second." He stood up, wanting to pull her into his arms, to remind her that she didn’t have to do this alone. Not now, not ever.
