Sage nodded slowly when she mentioned the other people. "I heard once that war is worse than hell. Everyone in hell deserves to be there. In war, so many innocent lives are taken or ruined," he noted softly, allowing himself to feel saddened by it all, for a moment. He couldn't break down...not now. "It gets easier to bear as time goes on," he added softly

Flo's eyes darted over to Sage. "Oh Sage" She gently laid her head on his chest, her eyes glancing around the darkened room. She took slow, easy breaths though her heart was pounding out of her chest.

Sage didn't say anything, but simply wrapped his arms around her snugly when she laid down. It was to comfort her, but also to comfort himself a little bit. Sometimes, it was just hard to believe things would ever get better than all this.

Florida looked around the room. "Are there any- oh wait... the power's out. Crap" She flopped down beside him, her eyes on the ceiling. Her ankle ached, so she could only imagine how hard it would be for Sage to move right now.

Sage groaned and nodded. "At least we have cold water," he sighed after a moment. "Maybe we can try to move and see if there's a cooler room?" He doubted either of them would get far, but maybe there was a dark corner somewhere that would be cooler.

Flo nodded. "yeah. Can you move?" She sat up and put her hand on his shoulder, ready to help him up if he needed it.
