"You don't like CAKE!" She froze before walking in the door. "What!!!!" She grabbed his arm "I can't believe it!" Her voice was not full of anger or anything frustrating... it was surprise. "Way to be different" she grinned before walking in the door. "Waaaaay to be different" she stopped at the counter and propped her arms up for a second. "Hello! What would you like?" The girl- same one from their past visits- snickered at Sophia's words. "That's my line!" The girl said. Sophia grinned and ordered her usual while getting Zephyr his plain ole coffee. She stood there, talking with the girl- Joselyn- for a little bit before grabbing her coffee and cake pop along with Zephyrs and sitting down with a wide smile

"Yeaaah. I'm like that. Different." Zephyr snorted, chuckling. "It's too sugary! Too sweet." He stated with a grin at her words. "What can I say. I'm unique." He snickered a little, hanging back slightly as she ordered everything then wandering over to the same table they usually sat at. He took his coffee with a smile of thanks, already sipping at it lightly. "Ffff... it's hotter than usual." He blew out it for a second before leaning back.

"Maybe it's because your not waiting for ten minutes like you usually do. Every time we end up talking about drawing you wait then you drink after I get silent" she smiled, proud of herself for noticing small details like that

Zephyr lifted his eyebrows slightly. "Thanks for the useful information, Miss Observative." He flashed a teasing smile. "Invitation to talk about drawing, accepted. So I've been- okay, ONCE I practiced drawing a horse and yes it did look more like a hippo but I need a tip of how to draw the top line " He said cheerfully. "Becauce the withers always get me confused. Drawing ain't my Strongsuit, but everything gets better with practice."

"I don't know. I'll draw one and you can try to copy it. I can't explain it well" Sophia jumped up and grabbed a napkin, drawing a rough sketch of a horse. "Here ya go" she handed him the doodles on napkin

Zephyr took the napkin after she was done and peered at it for a second before trying to copy the rough lines onto a different napkin. It didn't look great. Okay, it didn't even look good. But you could tell it was a ... an equine. It might be a zebra or donkey or horse, but at least it wasn't a tapir or something. "Okay. I think that helped the tiniest bit." He took a sip of his coffee b

Sophia smiled as he copied her work. "Atleast it kinda helped, right?" She asked. She took a small bite of her cake pop before glancing out the window. The sun was starting its decent even though it wasn't past 4pm yet.

Zephyr smiled slightly. "Yep." He answered, gently bumping her knee with his under the table as he almost finished his coffee. "Ready to go on that walk at the park yet?" He asked with twinkling eyes, glancing outside.

Sophia's leg buzzed when his leg brushed hers. +so I'm not the only one hitting my leg against his+ "yes. I am" she grinned and stood, tossing the stick to her cake pop in the trash and sipping her coffee. "I'm ready!" She walked beside him when they got outside

Zephyr finished his coffee and stood up, opening the door again and heading towards the park. He shifted slightly closer to Sophia so his fingers brushed hers, the same thing she had done to him. His fingers tingled but this time he liked the feeling. Accepted it.
