I gave her an agreeing look, chuckling lightly as we eventually all walked down to the stables. I walked to the pasture, whistling a sharp note and listening to the pounding of heavy hoofbeats against the ground as the steel grey 18.4 percheron stallion galloped over, skidding to a stop before tossing his mane around, my mind at ease seeing his tail wrap was somehow still in.

I haltered Adonis, being the only one able to handle him because I didn't tolerate his bullshit, the stable hands did. (hence the reason he's such an ass for them) Anyways. I slung my saddle up, doing up all the straps before slipping his bridle on, grabbing my sword just in case before mounting, trotting over to Kayla. "Ready?" I asked, Adonis already prancing underneath me.
