| Our old vet was like that Witchy, we have a cat on experimental drugs for a failing liver and kidney and he charged us next to nothing. Saved his life |

| Witchy The old school vets died out, and unfortunately people take advantage now. Our old vet that retried did experimental hip surgery on my first dog, it was $50 bucks and he didn't want payment until he knew it had worked |

| We paid probably 350+ to put down my old guy, but we did it at home. He died in his favorite spot under the willow and it was worth every penny 🥰 |

| My Vet, who has passed now, would do services (drugs/supplies etc) for his cost. He would also barter for his services if a person couldn't pay cash. I remember him getting a dozen good laying hens, for fixing a broken leg on a young dog. I will miss that guy terribly. |

| Witchy The $240 was just to get in the door. Didn't cover the drugs itself. I took her to the local large animal vet I know and she did it for $160 |
