Sage groaned, splashing the girl in a rather feeble attempt to get back at her. "Yeah, I'm very aware of that," he snorted, though his eyes were glittering with amusement. He sort of let himself sink while Quinn swam about, watching the fish and things swim around, and just chilling in the peace of it for a while before he had to resurface and take a breath.

Quinn glanced over at Sage. -Yeah... I wish I could sink like that- she thought with a chuckle, swimming back up towards the surface to get more air. "You have way too much muscle! It's not fair you just sink like a rock." Quinn joked, laughing. She took a couple deep breathes, preparing herself to go back under

Sage glanced over at the girl and chuckled lightly. "I think it's more the bone than the muscle," he noted with amusement. "And it's not easy to stay up," he half groaned, swimming over towards the girl. He didn't really care what they did, s long as it was fun.

Quinn chuckled. She attempted to think up a nickname to call him... or taint him by either worked. -bony bob... fail.- she thought with a wrinkle of her nose. "However amazing my brain may be.... I'm horrible at thinking up nicknames." She muttered, rolling her eyes sarcastically. She looked at Sage. "So... what fun game are we going to play today in the water. Don't ask me, my brain has shorted out." Quinn asked, tipping her head with a laugh.

Sage chuckled lightly and tipped his head back to think for a bit. "What water games are there," he mused, mostly just talking to himself. Eventually, he just shrugged and looked back at the girl. "Why don't we go see who can find a certain type of fish or something faster," he suggested. "just nothing super small....I have to be able to see it." Hed probably loose most of the rounds, but it would still be fun he supposed. And it was the only thing he could think of.

Quinn grinned. "Maybe your brain is good for something.." she teased. "Okay, well lets make it another competition, for fun. If if I win I get to tell you one thing to do. If you win you get to tell me one thing to do, just like before. Whoever finds the most different fish species. If you have more than one, you lose a point. For example: Male bluegills and female bluegills look very different. If you take one of each thinking they are different species... you lose a point. Agreed?" Quinn explained what she was thinking

Sage chuckled at the girl's comment, whacking her arm lightly with a mock gasp of offense before cocking his head to listen to what she was saying. He gave her a grin and nodded in response. "Sounds fun," he chirped. "We should have a time limit...who can find the most in like an hour," he hummed. Then he nodded. "I'll see you in an hour," he chirped, letting himself sink and scuttling along the bottom and away from Quinn to a spot he knew there would be a lot of fish.

Quinn chuckled, diving under. She went upriver where the water was shallower and there were lots of weeds... there would be many small species of fish... and some large species that ate them. She walked out of the water and hurried around, knowing she was wasting time... but also knowing this might just save her. Quinn grabbed a long, thin branch and wove some vines together, coming out with a net. She dove back into the water, easily being able to capture fish now. Quinn waited like a predator until a blue gill swam past, then got that. She got a sunfish, and a pumpkin fish. (Forgot the last name to that one lol) Quinn caught at least five other species of various sizes, and only 40 min had passed

Sage sort of just set around, herding different fish species into a sort of pod, and towards the end of the hour he sort of just swam behind them, kind of like he was herding sheep or cattle and brought them to their meeting spot. He had a good number of fish, but didn't trust himself not to start getting duplicates since he couldn't see if he got much more.

Quinn had caught around 30 different species of fish, and she knew not one was a duplicate. She only had five minutes left... Quinn hurried, but she couldn't find any more. Then, with one minute left... Quinn saw the biggest rock bass she had ever seen in her life. She didn't have bass! Quinn waited silently, stalking the stalker. Being the predator... and making the predator the prey. She swiped through the water with her net and caught it square in the center. Quinn came out of the water with a gasp, grinning wildly. She put the fish in small pond she had found with the rest of them. "Okay Sage, times up!" She called cheerfully, walking over
