Sage cocked his head slightly, and looked down at Caroline, who was curled up between them happily. "She's a baby. She cries a lot. You're not doing anything wrong," he reassured the girl, squeezing her gently. "she loves you...it's obvious she does. You're her mother."

"I just feel like I was doing something wrong." Aria said quietly. She sat up and leaned against Sage's shoulder gently. "I love her too..." Aria whispered, grabbing Caroline's tiny hand.

Sage smiled at the girl and shook his head. "No, you're doing fine," he reassured her. "She never sees me, of course she gets excited when I show up," he sighed, wishing he could spend more time with her. "Even if she's a daddy's girl, that doesn't mean she doesn't love you "

Aria smiled back. "Sorry... I get I was just kinda jealous." She giggled. "I mean, how can you not get jealous at that cute face?" She laughed, looking up at Sage. "I love you."

Sage chuckled lightly and looked down at their daughter happily. "I'm quite jealous sometimes...seing you two outside playing while I'm stuck doing paperwork," he noted with an amused chuckle.

|
Aria chuckled softly. She smiled down at Caroline and the little girl grabbed onto her finger and tried to eat it. Aria laughed and picked her up gently. "Wanna head back?" She asked Sage with a cocked head.

Sage smiled, relieved that he'd come and found Aria, and glad she'd settled down a bit. He nodded, and patted her shoulder happily. "It's about lunch time, why don't we go eat," he suggested lightly.

Aria walked to the castle with Sage. "Sure!" She chirped. The girl was hungry, so it would be nice to have some food. She grabbed his hand happily.

|
Sage smiled and held her hand, and held caroling up against his hip with his other arm. "Good, I'm hungry," he chuckled. "You'd never think paperwork could take up so much energy," he laughed.

Aria giggled at his last comment and rubbed the back of his hand with her thumb. "I love you." She whispered to the boy, smiling over at Caroline.
