Mari looked back to him with wide eyes. "You even try and divorce me and I'll hunt you down," she hissed to him, but her voice was light and laced with amusement. She let go of it after a moment or two and turned over to look at Sage, though still had a tight hold of the blanket. "I simply suggested that if you were gonna deprive me of your love and affection then perhaps I should find someone who would give me all of their love," her voice was sing song, obviously teasing. "And then maybe I wont have to share that love with a cat," she giggled lightly.

Sage couldn't help the snicker that escaped him at the girl's first comment, about to tease the girl again about her fake hiss, though at her next comment all he could do was chuckle and shake his head. "maybe the cats nicer to me," he teased the girl lightly. "At least she doesn't let me freeze to death while she sits right next to me," he huffed, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting over at the girl, still just happy to play around.

Mari furrowed her brows at him before placing her feet on his stomach and going to push him away, however rather than pushing him away she just ended up moving herself so that she need up rolling onto the floor. She landed with a soft thump before groaning up at him. "That cat steals you from me," she complained, laying on the floor for a moment before crawling up onto the bed again and flopping down on the bed. "I'm wonderful to you, am I not?" She asked with a huff. "One moment we'll be cuddling up and the next you roll away to cuddle in with the cat," she complained to him before pouting at him once more. "If you prove your love to me, then you can come in the blankets."

Sage chuckled lightly when Mari only succeeded in pushing herself off of the bed. He huffed lightly when she complained about Amber. "You love her too and you know it," he chirped. "I can cuddle both of you perfectly fine," he snorted, trying desperately not to laugh at the rather ridiculous situation. Then he pouted over at the girl again. "I did that last night," he whined, rolling over to the girl. "So how do you propose I do that," he purred over at the girl, half flopping over on top of her. "Seems to me I'm giving more than I'm receiving here," he complained playfully. He of course didn't feel that way....and he knew Mari felt the same way, so they could play around like that.

Mari scowled at him before poking his chest with her finger. "I have to compete with the animal!" She yelped to him. She did love Amber, she was a part of their tiny little family... but she also knew Sage loved her very much, so she could joke about it all the same. "You always get," she huffed to him before giving an amused giggle when he went to flop on top of her. "I need to feel just as loved as you do," she huffed to the boy, placing her hand on his chest and gently pushing him away. "So I really shouldn't have to tell you how to care for me," she added with a laugh.

Sage snorted lightly at the girl's comment. "You can move her any time you want, you just choose not to," he told the girl happily. Then he huffed out a breath when she pushed him away, making it a bit hard for her to move him....he could use his weight to his advantage and sort of just go limp, which is exactly what he did. She managed to shove him away eventually, though, and he flopped down and looked over at her with a pout. "Well, I can't do that if you keep pushing me away," he complained. "I wanna cuddle," he whined, sort of sounding like some kind of spoiled toddler. "I can't love you if you don't let me cuddle," he huffed, crossing his arms and fake scowling over at the girl, though his eyes glittered with amusement.

Mari scowled at him like a child before huffing out a breath to him. "Yeaahh but she makes you happy," she added to him with a pout. She groaned to him when he flopped down on her, and let out a heavy breath. "Sage you're heavy," she complained until he finally flopped off. She wouldn't just block him away from her, but she would let him in for a cuddle for a little while, but for now, she was happy to just to mess about for a little while... and he was too, by the looks of things. She gave him a look with wide eyes after a moment or two. "You sound like a child," she huffed to him before frowning. She then lifted the blanket up for him and lifted her leg up a tiny bit so he could wrap an arm around it and pull her in for a cuddle.

Sage was more than happy to pull the girl in for a cuddle, practically limpeting onto her. No doubt his skin was cold by then, but he figured that was really her own fault. She'd kicked him out of the blanket, even if it was just in play, so now she could warm him up again. He giggled lightly once he was back in her arms, and peeked up at her with a happy grin. "You did too, a little bit," he chirped in response to her earlier comment. "You looked rather similar to one too, with that face," he mused, really just teasing the girl at that point, though he pecked her cheek with the words. But, he was back snuggled up with Mari under the blanket, so he was perfectly happy, and she knew it.

Mari hummed softly to him, her skin prickling slightly when his cold skin hit hers. She groaned but hugged onto him anyway. "Is it really that cold?" she asked in the complaint but buried her face into his neck. She frowned when he called her a child, but slipped her leg between his and wrapped her arms around his back to get comfortable anyway. "I did not," she retorted to him, pressing her skin a little bit tighter to him, her arms squeezing him a tiny bit. "I looove you," she sung after a few moments, a smile across her face with a bit of a smile.

Sage chuckled lightly and shook his head. "Not really," he admitted lightly. But even so, he was more than happy to let her cuddle up again. "did too," he responded airily, sort of sinking into her when she tightened her hold on him. He chuckled lightly at her comment and leaned over to press a kiss to the top of her head. "I know," he chirped. "I'm your favorite husband ever," he giggled lightly.
