Mari let out a soft breath before giving a light smile to her husband. When he buried his head into her neck, she gave a bit of a hum and moved her hand to gently play with his hair where he rested. She rested her head on the pillow next to them, a smile still across her face. "I want to go to the beach later... can we do that?" She asked softly to him before shaking at her head at him. "Not that I need to ask, but you know," she hummed gently to him before eventually turning over to face the boy.

Sage let out a happy hum when the girl brought her hand up to his hair. He always did like it when she did that...it felt nice. He chuckled when she spoke up but nodded lightly. "Why not," he chirped. He gave her a grin, even though his face was still buried in her. "You get to call the shots this week," he chuckled lightly. But he was just happy to be with her, so he really didn't care what they did. Besides, the beach was quite nice.

Mari smiled happily to him once she'd turned over, her hands tightening in his hair before taking in a deep breath, letting his scent surround her. "I call all the shots anyway," she hummed softly. "You need to be more assertive, Sage," Mari mused to him, wrapping herself around him a bit tighter. She reached back to grab the blanket before rolling them over so that she was sat over him in a straddle, the blanket now resting over her back. "Maybe you should practice, hm?" She mused lightly to him.

Sage hummed happily when the girl turned around and chuckled lightly at her comment. "I don't have to be very assertive," he hummed lightly. "The only time I have to do that is when I'm at the barn or knocking someone out," he noted with slight amusement. He hummed lightly when she straddled him and cocked his head slightly. "I did that last night," he chuckled lightly. "Besides, I can't do that very well down here," he hummed, eyes sort of sparkling daringly.

Mari hummed gently to the boy before leaning down to peck his lips. A smile was still across her face, albeit a sleepy one, and they didn't have to do anything particularly intimate, but they could mess about for a little while. Enjoy the time they had together. She leaned back, her hands gently on his chest. "Now, maybe now is the time to do it. You can't be assertive down there... well, what will you do about it?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle, leaning in once more. "And let's maybe be assertive without knocking me out, hm?" She asked with a bit of a laugh.

Sage chuckled lightly with a hum before cocking his head. "I think I'll stay down here and get some love," he noted with amusement in response to her comment. Then he gave her a grin and nodded. "I think not knocking you out is a good idea," he agreed with a laugh. They were still a bit sleepy, and they certainly didn't have to do very much, but he'd take what he could get. He'd always take whatever she offered him, and she knew it.

Mari pouted at him with a bit of a huff. "I want it though," she complained to him. "We're practising assertiveness, Sage!" She whined to the boy but leaned to him to place a few soft kisses on his cheeks anyway. They were sleepy kisses, but she seemed more than happy to just relax with him and mess about for a little while. She soon flopped on his chest, wrapping her arms and legs around his torso, looking a bit like a turtle to some extent. "You always get my love, baby," she huffed quietly to him, her head buried into his neck.

Sage chuckled lightly and smiled softly when the girl flopped down on top of him again, wrapping his arms around him. "I can be assertive when I need to be," he hummed lightly. "This isn't a time I need to be assertive," he chirped. He hummed lightly at her other comment and nodded, tightening his hold on her slightly. "I know," he hummed. "But that kind of love is a bit different," he added in a more mischievous tone.

Mari wrinkled her nose at him before pouting and pressing a soft kiss to his neck, where her head was resting. "I suppose," she huffed to him. "I'm just going to assume you don't know how to do it in a fun sense, now though," she told him with a bit of an amused chuckle. She hummed to him, giving him a soft squeeze. "Whatever do you mean?! I always cuddle up with you," she mused lightly. "Can you not feel the love radiating off me?" She joked lightly, burying her face further into the crook of his neck. It was nice... very nice to say the least.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in response to the girl's comment. He tilted his head slightly when she pecked his neck, though she buried right back into him by the time she'd finished the kiss. He pouted slightly at her second comment and huffed out a playful breath. "I always have fun doing it," he snorted. "where were you last night, him," he asked playfully. Then he chuckled and nodded. "I know, I know. You're practically glued to my hip," he joked lightly. He certainly didn't mind it though. "hmm...I'm not sure," he teased her lightly. "You might have to prove your love to me," he all but giggled.
