Mari kissed him back happily, her heart thumping rapidly against her chest... to be fair, they'd barely done anything and she was out of breath. Her breath hitched when he moved, but she kissed him anyway. Soon enough, though, the two of them had worn themselves out, and once Mari had chucked some pillows under her knees... she'd read somewhere a while back that it could increase the chances of getting pregnant after intimacy... and to be honest, she was taking every opportunity she could to get pregnant. If she didn't try everything then she doubted it would ever happen... and she desperately wanted another child. She managed to get to sleep like that, though... eventually.

Sage was more than happy to cuddle up and pass out after they'd worn themselves out. Mari had put her feet up, but he figured out a way to still wrap himself around the girl and fall asleep. He fell asleep rather quickly too...maybe it was the drink wearing off, or maybe it was a combination of that and their busy day. Either way, he slept quite well, and he was glad for it. He was also glad that they could sleep in the next morning....they'd stayed up well last midnight, so not getting up to work never seemed better. Especially when the light started filtering through the window, and he could just curl up into his wife more and block it all out in order to slip back into sleep. It was quite a lovely feeling, really.

Mari curled into him slightly when he wrapped around her... they weren't quite under the blankets, but she found it was warm enough that they didn't need it. Or, they'd just sweated themselves enough. She slept warmly, a bit of a smile across her face as she slept. They had all day the next to sleep and rest... she did want to go back down to the beach, though. Soon, the light bounced through the windows, and she had to turn her head into his shoulders to hide... though, by early morning, her legs had wrapped around him and she couldn't really get any closer to him if she tried.

Sage hugged the girl tighter when she turned into him, not willing to get up quite yet. No doubt the girl felt the same way. They were comfortable, wrapped up together...warm, and safe, and happy. He'd expected a bit of a headache or something from the drinks from the previous night, but so far, he felt...well, normal, he supposed was the way to put it.

Mari let out a soft breath, moving to look at the clock... it was almost two in the afternoon. Had they slept that long, really? Her head didn't hurt... so if she'd had any kind of hangover she'd just slept it off. "Morning husband," she huffed in a slightly amused tone before sighing softly and going to peck his lips softly. She huffed softly before moving to peck his neck gently, a small smile across her face. "I take it you slept well," she sighed out, a soft, tired sigh escaping her.

Sage hummed lightly in response to the girl, a soft smile forming on his face when she pecked his lips. He giggled lightly when she pecked his neck, wriggling around for a moment before stilling and settling back down into her again with a soft huff. "Morning," he hummed lightly to the girl, in response to her earlier comment. "I slept pretty good," he hummed. "much thanks to you," he added in a more mischievous and teasing tone, now that he'd woken up a bit more.

Mari smiled to him, her face still puffy with sleep but loooking happy all the same. "It was all you," she mused to him, sitting back a bit before shuffling in a bit so that her back was placed against his stomach. She gently trailed her fingers over her stomach before stretching back to grab his hand and place it on her abdomen quietly. "What do you think? Lucky round or what?" She mused lightly to him. She knew they'd never know the morning after, but it was an amusing thought all the same... plus, she didn't think they'd get that lucky so soon.

Sage chuckled lightly at her first comment, humming lightly before letting the girl move him around as she got comfortable. He looked down at her and tightened his grip from where she'd out his hand on her stomach. "I'd like to think so," he chuckled. They probably wouldn't be so lucky ..but he did hope for another one. Even if it was years from now, another child would be nice. He pecked the girl on the head lightly after his comment, sort of nuzzling into her hair. She smelled nice... comfortable. And he was pretty happy with the day already, even if they'd barely done anything yet.

Mari hummed quietly to him, gently leaning back against his chest as she got comfortable. Her hand closed around his happily, giving him a soft squeeze. She knew they might not be pregnant again... well, ever, but all the same she could hope. She'd always loved the idea of a little family of four, and she really hoped to get that. Silas would make a wonderful big brother when he was older, too, she was sure of it. Mari let out a soft breath before closing her eyes again, eager to get some good rest for a short while... it was cool, and she could hear the beach. It was all wonderful. The hand she was gripping onto gently loosened, and she moved his fingers around her abdomen softly. His nails gently trailed along with it, making the movement slightly ticklish but felt wonderful and soothing all the same. She hummed gently and let go of his hand once he'd figured out what she was wanting, just enjoying the soft movements of his hand around her torso and stomach.

Sage was more than content to just lay there and stay resting, even if it was a bit later. They probably shouldn't sleep much more if they wanted to sleep that night, but they could rest for as long as they wanted, he supposed. He chuckled slightly when the girl started moving his hand around, taking the movement up himself as she'd pretty much requested. He didn't mind, not one bit. He sort of just cuddled up into her, burying his nose into her hair so he could breathe in her scent and warmth while he ran his hand lightly along her abdomen. It was nice, just laying around and resting together. They had plenty of time to go do stuff later if they wanted to.
