Caden watched the woman's hand graze her thigh, his mind immediately connecting it with a place to stash something. Dangerous. Good, he liked dangerous. He hoped she'd be harder to win over, a hunt almost as it had been far too long since he'd had to chase anything. The man walked over, grabbing a glass of champagne off the same platter and barely grazing her hand with his. His eyes darted over to hers, holding her gaze their before the corner of his lips turned just barely upright into sort of a smirk. Caden turned and walked off, acting as though the exchange hadn't happened. Had it made his heart estatic with nervousness? Maybe. Though he'd never admit to ut. Though he was scared of messing up and making her see him as a creep, he was sure she probably hadn't even noticed anything. With that he lifted the glass to his lips, taking a sip of the bubbly liquid with a content sigh as the ballroom was filled with the faint aroma of music. He'd seen numerous familiar faces, reckognizing both Mickey and Dmitri. He kept clear of Dmitri. (trying out a new writing style)

Caden noticed her slowly making her way over to him, so he copied her. Eventually they were mere feet from eachother, Caden acting as though he'd bumped into her. "Oh, didn't see you. Then again, you sort've...blended in. Y'know the, green mixed with the other greens and whatnot, hm?" He mused, making sure to keep his accent heavy.

"Champagne's....decent, if I do say so myself." He mused with a chuckle, setting his empty glass on the platter walking nearby and grabbing a full one.

"Silent, hm? Interesting, maybe you'll be a chase I can tackle." With that he walked back off into the sea of muted colors and masks. Caden thought about her, the earlier champagne settling in his stomach with a fizz.
