Mari had to admit, being able to go out and have someone else cooking for her was pretty wonderful. It was nice too... a small glass of red wine with it, too. She never drank in the castle, mainly because the maids were likely to be beaten for it by the guards, but she could relax here... be happy with everything. She did want to go and try the cocktails up at the bar, though she didn't want Sage to be uncomfortable. She knew places like this weren't where he was most comfortable. The steak was... very good, though.

Sage was more than happy to sit with Mari and eat. To bring her out to a nice place for dinner, especially while they were on their honeymoon. It was just nice. They'd finished eating though, and he could see the girl eyeing the bar, so he chuckled slightly and nodded in the direction of the bar. "One or two won't hurt us, now will it," he chirped, standing up and holding his hand out to her. He was pretty comfortable here...it wasn't at all like his old workplace.

Mari ate happily in silence... they didn't have to talk to have a nice time out. Though here eyes lit up when he said they could go get something or other from the bar. She was happy enough to try some things... she really just wanted something sweet and something in a plastic cup to bring back to the house. She did love the place... everything was light and fresh and perfect. "I suppose not... order something for me, too, please. Something sweet and fun," she babbled happily to him. She was certainly a cocktail kind of person, but she was excited to see what he'd pick out for her. As it got later, it got a bit louder, but it wasn't too bad, still... she felt alright here, especially with Sage.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded happily, heading over to grab something for the two of them. He found something cherry he thought the girl would like, and he got something a little bit more mellow for himself if terms of flavor. He got the drinks and wandered back to their table, handing Mari her drink and sliding down next to her happily. He supposed tey could get a bit giddy....they had plenty of time and room. They could always be silly in their room instead of here too, he supposed. But whatever happened, he supposed it would all be more fun than anything.

Mari gave him a happy grin when he reappeared with their drinks. She'd been wanting to go up to the bar, but by now it'd gotten pretty crowded, and she'd decided it wasn't the place for her... well, not now when she was frankly a little bit scared of going up around so many people. She thanked the boy for the drink, which had a cute little straw in it, slowly starting to sip on it before looking back over to Sage with a sudden look of worry. "Do you think Silas is alright?" She asked with wide eyes.

Sage sipped at his own drink once he's given the girl hera and settled down again. It was pretty good....though, it was probably not best to chug it or anything. He looked over at Mari with a slight chuckle in response to her comment, cocking his head slightly. "Of course he's alright....why would you think otherwise," he asked curiosly. "I'm sure he's having a great time, with your family and the doctor spoiling him rotten." He took another sip of the drink, rather liking the pop of flavor it had.

Mari cocked her head, taking another, rather large sip of her drink... she did trust her family with everything he had, however, she was a first-time mother... and she would always be frightened that something had happened to her beloved child. She should just enjoy her time out here while she could, though. She knew that they wouldn't have time to have fun like this for a long, long time now. "Probably," she huffed quietly. She was just paying attention to the drink now... it was sweet, very sweet, which she liked. She didn't particularly enjoy the taste of the gin and tonics that were often served, but this was wonderful. (We need to have something happen but I don't know what lmao)

(Lol, we'll have to think of something. I don't have any ideas either. Maybe someone tries to flirt with one or the other?) Sage nodded lightly to the girl, glad that she was trying to accept that Silas would be fine. He missed the boy, and he did worry about him too...but he also trusted Mari's family and the doctor to take care of him. The girl seemed to like her drink though, as did he, so everything was going well he thought. He didn't think he'd like any of the drinks...he wasn't big on getting himself drunk....but it was surprisingly good, and he did sort of like the way it almost burned his throat on the way down. It was more of a tingle than a burn, really, but good all the same. He figured as long as the drinks didn't cloud his better judgement, he'd be alright. He could get a little giggly or whatever, that didn't particularly matter.

(Yeah, have have that happen!) Mari smiled softly to the boy before nodding. She did agree to the man, but all the same, she was nervous of her baby. He was still young and so much could go wrong. Mari had to let go s little bit, though. After a short while, the girl had finished her drink as if it were fruit juice, and offered to take Sages glass before going to get them topped up. They had something mango to try, so she took that, and got something slightly different to try, too. She was a bit buzzy now... a happy smile on her face and her cheeks slightly rosed, but still very much had her whitts about her... it was busy, and as the people welled around her she had to slip between them, careful not to spill her drinks.

Sage had finished his drink off rather quickly as well, cheeks definitely splashed with red. He nodded happily when Mari offered to fill the drinks up again...maybe it wasn't the best idea to have another glass of whatever that was, but it was rather good, and he did want another. Everything seemed a little bit fuzzy around him, but he still had his wits about him. He was still shifting in his seat the way he always did, and played with the napkin since his hands always seemed to be moving too. And he was still looking around, though his thoughts were admittedly somewhat slower than normal. He noticed some girl coming over to the table, dressed in a rather loud outfit. It was rather small too, which made him roll his eyes slightly and look back over to where Mari had disappeared. That was, until the girl tried to slide into his lap. He was definitely surprised for a moment, though he managed to scoot away so she was on the bench next to him. She reached for him, cooing something out, though he wasn't really paying attention. He just batted her hand away, and when she became more persistent, he cast a half panicked glance in Maris direction. Where was she? He could definitely use her help right about then.
