lol I've only been to TN so I don't know anything about the other too) - "She's right. She's better. I don't deserve you. At all. " she looked up at Zephyr with a defeated look. She never felt like enough for anyone. Anyone. Yes, she may be the best softball player, but she never felt like she was good enough. Yes, she drew amazingly, but she always criticized herself about it. She just couldn't accept that she didn't have to be perfect at everything to be liked.

(I actually just went to TN for the first time last year lol. It was too hot for my liking) - Zephyr blinked in astonishment, and pretty much just stared at Sophia. For a while. Until his brain processed what she was saying. SHE felt like not enough!? What!?! "I- .. I..." the words wouldn't come out. "You feel like not enough? I... I'm like..like... like... a rag doll compared to you. Or you're a hundred dollar bill and I'm a penny. Or you're a cloud and I'm the piece of dust! Sophia how... if anything, I don't deserve you. You're amazing and smart and strong and you're good and practically anything you do. You draw amazingly and you're the best darn softball player I've ever seen, but even with all that- that stuff doesn't hold a CANDLE compared to your personality. You are always thinking of other people before yourself. You are selfless. You try so hard to make others happy. You try to be better even when you're already the best. I have never met someone like you and Lydia can't say ANY of that. I would give my whole sad world just to be your friend." He looked at her. "So don't EVER say again that Lydia was right and don't EVER think you're not good enough."

Too HOT? Try living in Alabama lol) - Sophia felt like crying at his words. "I- I don't..." tears filled the back of her eyes. "I don't know what to say..." she wiped at her eyes with her thumb. "What to say- what to do- do I kiss you- hug you- cry-?" She wiped at her tears once again. The last one was already happening

(Yes too hot! I went in October and it was 80 DEGREES! When I went back to Minnesota it was 13 DEGREES. My younger brother and sister go to Halloween dressed in snowsuits XDD) - Zephyr was a little freaked out. Was this good crying or bad crying? Was she unhappy or angry at him? Had he gone too far? Too much? "Don't cry. Stop crying, that will only make your eyes hurt. And don't kiss me either unless you want more gossiping and stares than I promise you've ever gotten in your entire life." He smiled faintly before wiping a tear off her cheek. "Just believe me and that's enough." Zeph answered. "Every word I said was true."

Sophia sighed and leaned into his hand as he wiped the small tears from her face. "I guess I could do that" she looked away then back at him "So you're coming to the game?" She asked, desperately searching for a way to change the subject.

Zephyr looked at her for a second more before shifting back towards the table and glancing at the people around them. "I'm pretty sure I already answered that question. Yes I'm coming. You're going to do amazing because youre AWESOME at softball." He answered, pretty much demanding she believed every word he was saying.

"Yes. You have answered it before, but just to make sure my sudden sadness didn't scare you away. " she rolled her eyes at his next response. "I don't exactly believe that, but whatever you say" Sophia looked around the room. Thankfully all of the kids were minding their own business. Blake was still gone. Oh yeah. " I forgot about something. Blake got attacked by the nerf guns last night. I woke up and all of the bullets were on the balcony. I opened the door and it didn't trigger. He got attacked and I didn't even know. I must have slept through it"

Zephyr snorted quietly. "It takes more than that to scare me away." He answered, then rolled his own eyes in response. "Believe what you want, there's a right and a wrong and I'm in the right." he smirked with a joking chuckle, then lifted his eyebrows in surprise. "You SLEPT through my awesome trap!? I hope he had fun getting whacked by 32 hard balls!" He grinned, then grimaced. "Wait- oh. Sorry. He tried to get in again. I have sympathy for you." Zeph winced.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to!" She chuckled and flicked his shoulder.

"Welllll at least he didn't get in. Yay locked doors." Zephyr answered, glancing up as the bell rang. "That's my cue! And everyone's. See you after the game, when you finish kicking the other team's butts!" He offered a smile before standing and disappeared quickly out the door, heading towards his classes. Afterward he all but jogged to the softball field, climbing up to the same spot he always did in the bleachers and looking around.
