Trixie listened to him quietly, taking his words into account with a slight squint. She waited for elaboration but instead he stood and walked to the door, causing her to follow suit in curiousity. She stayed near the wall to observe him until She figured out what he was doing, waiting for him to draw back before she spoke. She let out a small sigh at his words and walked closer to him, leaning back against the wall beside him and laying her head back against the rough surface. "Alright. Well, I guess we're stuck here then. But, followup question; what exactly is this place?" She asked quietly, looking rather frustrated with everything in general.

Matt rested his head against the brick wall, closing his eyes for a split second to calculate his own words in his head. "It's a sort of torture version of the place we were in before. That's all, live out your dreams when you were alive sort of thing, this is a 'live out your worst fears from when you were alive'. Though it's slightly confusing, everyone here lives a normal life, your fears just pop up out of nowhere" Matt started to explain, bringing his gaze back down to Trixie. "the thing is, some people's fears were so strong when they were alive they just end up becoming depressed and in a state of derealization, it's scary. that's why you'd see loads of people walking around with glazed over eyes" he added, his tone dropping as he spoke.

Trixie listened to him explain with slowly widening eyes, shrinking back against the wall slightly. "Oh." She murmured softly, closing her eyes as he continued with his explanation, wincing slightly. "So that was heaven, this is hell." She added softly, more to herself than anything. "And we're just stuck here. Fun." She said sarcastically, pushing herself up from the wall to stand in front of him, resting her head gently against his shoulder with a sigh.

Matt gave a small shrug, dusting his arm off as various substances fell from the ceiling. "Not exactly hell, as long as you don't let your fears get on top of you you're basically fine. It's if you let it into your head that you're in trouble" He explained, looking down at Trixie. About a month or so he had been denying ever falling in love with the girl he was stood right in front of. "We'll be okay." he said quietly, pulling her in as he spoke.

"Oh, great. So just don't be afraid and you'll be fine." Trixie muttered, curling her arms around him gently and laying her head into the crook of his neck. "Easy." She huffed sarcastically, sinking closer into him as he pulled her in. "I really, really hope so." She said softly, taking a deep breath afterwards. He was enough to lull her panic almost entirely, even when he was just... there.

"That's exactly what i'm saying" Matt said, shooting a weak smile at the very weak attempt of a joke, his gaze settled on the high up, blurry window on the wall opposite them. He couldn't see a thing obviously, but he was imagining they were at least back in the other world in his room, together, happy. Not stuck in a cold, unkempt room wondering on when they'd both be torn apart and placed on opposite sides of the world. He gave a small sigh and looked down in Trixies direction, tightening his grip on her waist after she settled in his arms. "It's strange to think we won't actually see each other again you know." he spoke quietly, clearly relaying his thoughts onto Trixie out loud. "i don't think i've actually fallen in love before, so i never took this type of feeling seriously" he added, his tone even quieter than before.

Trixie gave a meek smile at his first comment, otherwise staying still and quiet in his arms as she listened to his breathing. When he spoke again, her eyes flitted open and her breath hitched, specifically at the last half, when her heart stopped beating. "It is. But at least we got to experience it, right?" She managed softly, swallowing as she lifted her head to hold his gaze.

Matt shrugged, his smile weak. "I guess so" he said quietly, though he was cut off as someone entered. It was yet another different guy, this time someone less important looking. They were pretty much dressed in rags, though their composure was that of the same officials they had seen earlier. He quickly explained the situation that they already knew they were in, ending with telling them they only had a matter of days left in this world before they could be sent out.

Trixie jumped slightly as someone entered the room, her gaze immiediately snapping to the person as she tightened her grip on Matt. When she didn't get ripped away from him she relaxed again, pressing into his chest slightly as she listened to the person speak. She found herself slightly annoyed by the explanation, and she simply stared at the person flatly.

"So I guess we're fully stuck here" Matt sighed, watching as the guy paced the room a little way away from them. He did not in any way want to be stuck in that room for the next three or so days knowing they were gonna end up ripped apart, it would be torture. But at the same time, he didn't wanna leave the room, the fears taking either of them over would be scary. He watched as the man stopped in his tracks, and turned around to stare at the two, taking a good two minutes in before speaking. And when he did, it was simply an explanation of what Matt hadn't wanted to hear. "Leave the room"
