Sage smiled back at Aria and then looked down at Caroline, who had grabbed part of his shirt and tugged at it, trying to shove it in her mouth. "no, that's gross," he laughed. 'dont eat my shirt!" She was funny.

Aria grabbed the blanket and walked inside slowly. She sighed and tossed the blanket on the bed, before walking back outside and heading to lake. She sat down on a bench. Sage cocked his head when Aria walked away, though when she headed in the direction of the woods, he let her go. She might need some time to herself. He did feel awful that he had to work so much though.

Aria laid down on the bench and looked up at the blue sky. It was beautiful. It reminded her of Caroline's eyes, and when she thought about the baby girl, tears welled up in her eyes.

Sage was rather surprised when the girl just started crying and was even more surprised at her question. Then he was terrified that he'd done aoemtuto make her think that. "Of course not," he yelped, wrapping her up in a hug. "Why would you think that? Did I do something? I'm sorry," he babbled, not wanting her to be hurt.

Aria just cried more. "No... you didn't do anything. It's just that Caroline cried every time I try to hold her. I think she hates me." Aria said. "I feel like a bad mother to her. Am I?" She asked. The girl felt awful.
