Dakota smiled as the wind blew through her hair. Her emerald green eyes shimmered. Dakota walked to the mailbox. She pulled out a bill from the bank. Dakota scrunched up her nose. "What is this?" Dakota said to herself. She walked inside and handed the paper to Jacob. "What does this mean?" Dakota asked him. "Are we losing our house?"

Jacob said "no it not meaning we are losing it the house has bills and I can't pay them " Jacob sighed

"You need to take the job as a police soon. If it gets worse, we will lose the house." Tears welled up in Dakota's eyes. She ran to the barn and went to the hayloft. Athena whinned after her. She was worried about Dakota.

Jacob sighed and said " great I can't do anything good " Jacob walks outside and looks at the barn and goes towards it

Athena heard Jacob come in the barn and she looked up. Dakota wiped her eyes and looked out the barn window. The field was right out the window. Dakota could still remeber the picture. Her and Jacob in the field holding hands. It made her cry more.
