Sage hummed lightly and nodded happily. "We can do that if you'd like. Or we could visit the few we were looking at and bring her with us, for a second opinion," he suggested. Then he cocked his head slightly and shrugged before standing up. "Let's go down to the beach," he hummed lightly. 'we can eat and then play in the water like you wanted," he chirped, taking her hand and tugging her along gently.

Mari nodded to him... whatever, they'd figure what they wanted out. She was a bit like an impatient child when it came to things like this, that she was excited about. When he tugged her along, she could just giggle and grab the plate and follow him down, her face split with the largest grin as she finally got to the white sand... she'd grabbed a few towels on the way, so she was fairly excited about all of this. She set them down for her and Sage, practically buzzing as she looked around, the white sand and the bright blue sea which was lapping just a few meters away from the two of them.

Sage followed the girl around while she got towels, and carried the food as she lay some down for them. He giggled in a rather excited manner, more than happy to go barefooted in the warm sand. He plopped down happily, patting the ground next to him, and setting the plates down on a towel so no sand would get in it. He looked around at the scenery, more than a little bit excited to play in the ocean. But he was hungry, so he did want to eat breakfast first...that was a good idea. And then later, and the rest of the week he would assume, they'd start trying for another baby. It was all good things, and he was definitely glad they were able to score this place. It eased the burdens of paying money for a hotel and all the rest.

Mari plopped down on the towel next to him with a happy sounding sigh. It was nice... peaceful, and she could don't help but enjoy it. She ate what she could, but had to admit it was more that's she was prepared for, so quickly finished up and gave what she couldn't eat ti Sage. She was still just in his shirt... legs bare and the sleeves rolled up... the warm breeze did feel so incredibly nice on her legs and arms, and the few undone buttons gave for s nice breeze too... it was all wonderful, it really was. She was excited to mess about in the ocean, too... she'd never seen so much water in her life.

Sage ate rather quickly as well, though he was more than content to tilt his face up towards the sun and just enjoy the warmth coming from it. After a bit of just sitting there, he crawled towards the water and reached out to let the waves lap against his hand. He watched it happen, a little bit in awe. He'd never seen the ocean....he'd heard stories, of course, about the huge body of water, but it seemed almost like a fairy tale. But now he was here...feeling the waves and sand, and the sun was warming his skin. He could even hear the waves and seagulls, and he had Mari with him too, making it all even better. The thought of the girl led him to growing a mischievous grin and flicking some of the water in his palm at the girl with a giggle. They could play around a bit...it would be fun, and if it turned into toying with eachother....well, it would ready them for later. And he certainly wasn't doing to deter any of that.

Mari watched the boy crawl towards the sea, a kind of childish light in her eyes as she watched him carefully try and pat it, only for it to move away from him. "Sage, Hunny, you know the sea-" she squeaked, her sentence being cut off as the boy flicked water at her, an invitation to come and splash about with him. She smiled lightly at the boy. She crawled forwards next to her husband, sticking her hand in the shallow wave before flicking some up at him with a happy giggle, then stood up to kick a few droplets his way, her grin only growing as she looked down at him.

Sage only half hear Mari's comment, no doubt about him seeming like some kind of child, though she immediately got up to screw around, so it couldn't have been all that important. He giggled when she splashed him back, and lept to his feet, a wide grin on his face as he kicked some water back at the girl, more than happy to just mess around for a bit. The ocean was something both of them had only dreamed about...so it was definitely nice to be able to play in it together. He waded a little bit deeper after a while, so the water was up against his legs as they played. The rhythm of the waves was somewhat soothing, and felt super cool.

Mari smiled to him with a bit of a chuckle before following him into the sea, gently moving to splash him as she ran. The water felt beautiful... it was excellent, and soft, and just so lovely... she'd always wanted to go to the sea, and she was so, so excited about everything... and it was here, with Sage, and it was so, so wonderful. It was all just so, so wonderful. She went to splash some water on him with a happy grin, her eyes bright and childlike. His shirt was soaked through already, but to be honest, she didn't care, and she didn't think he did, so they could just splash about for a little while.

Sage let out another giggle when he saw the girl slide into the water after him. They were both soaked by then, but that was ok ...they were having fun. And they had other outfits, so it really didn't matter if they got wet. They'd just have to dry off enough not to ruin any floors or carpets on the way back into the building. He grinned over at the girl when she splashed him, his eyes just as childlike as hers. Really, when he got the chance to be himself, he supposed he did act a lot like a little kid ....one of the things that came from not really having a childhood as, well, a child. He wrapped his arms at the girl and flopped over into the water, knocking them both over with a giggle.

Mari let out a kind of gasp when the boy dragged the flopped them both into the water, though her giggles didn't really seem to stop at all. She hid her face in his chest so that she didn't open her eyes in the salty water, but was happy enough once they were back up again. They were completely soaked, but all she could do was grin and moved to press a light kiss to his lips, her hands still gripping onto his shirt as though she didn't quite trust him not to drag her under again. She soon moved a bit deeper into the water, to where it was just below her chest before flicking some water up at him with a laugh, the wrapped her arms around his neck happily to press a slightly deeper kiss to his lips, her smile still bright. "I'm thinking we need to come down the beach more," she told him with a happy-sounding laugh.
