Sage gave the girl a fake pout when she commented about his staring. "But you're pretty," he whined, eyes glittering with laughter he was holding back. He squinted over at the clock for a moment before sighing and resting his head back down. "Little after ten," he hummed lightly. He got his usual goofy grin on his face when she pecked his lips and nodded with a light chuckle in response to her comment. "We could grab some food and eat breakfast down there," he suggested. "Play around in the water for a bit if you'd like," he added with a chirp. He'd always dreamt of playing around in the waves, and clear water of the ocean. The lake was wonderful, but the ocean was just... different. Exciting. And sharing those moments with Mari would make them even better.

Mari gave an amused chuckle and hid her face from him for a moment before peaking up at him with a small smile. "I just woke up though," she mused softly before shaking her head a little bit. She nodded softly to the boy after a few moments before giving a small stretch and moving to get out of bed."Yeah, two minutes," she hummed happily before scampering off to what had to be the biggest bathroom she'd ever seen. It was gorgeous, it really was. She just washed her face before scampering back to the bedroom and slipping back to the bed with a happy smile, trotting over to Sage's side and perching just on his lap in a kind of straddle, her hands resting just behind his neck with a happy grin. "Where's the kitchen, my love?" She asked with a giddy-sounding chuckle. If the bedroom and bathroom were this big... well, she could only imagine the size of the kitchen.

Sage chuckled lightly and reached forwards to peck the girl on the nose. "I was joking Mari," he chuckled lightly. "Though personally, I must say I feel like I should be placed higher than a pillow that's not even yours," he teased lightly. He nodded and rolled over onto his back with a yawn, resting there until Mari came back. He looked up at the girl with a light chuckle when she rested on his lap, and reached over to pat her leg. "Dunno," he chirped. "I've never been here either," he mused. "Well have to go find it. But to do that you'll have to let me up," he noted with amusement. Unless the girl was in the mood where she didn't want to get off of him, he assumed they'd find the kitchen rather quickly. The whole place seemed to be a few main hallways with a gazillion rooms....simple enough to find a kitchen in.

Mari hummed to him with a chuckle. "Personally, I like pillows - we might have to steal one for my room. They might have to replace my shiny new husband," she mused lightly once she'd returned. She smiled and pecked his nose before hopping up off his lap and giving him a hand. "Let's go then," she hummed happily to him. She didn't know what they had in this kitchen, but she was excited. It was all wonderful. The scenery, the house, everything... and she was with Sage, which she could only be thrilled about. She didn't know where it was, they'd pretty much just flopped to sleep by then, but that was fine... she was excited to do everything with him. It shouldn't be too hard to find a kitchen though.

Sage rolled his eyes at the girl's comment but grinned up at her when she pecked his nose, rolling off the bed and taking her hand happily. He attempted to sort his bed head out a little bit with his free hand before giving up on it. It was always messy, he supposed, so it didn't really matter. He'd patted it down enough so that it wasn't blatantly bed head, and Mari didn't care anyway. They wandered around for a few minutes before they found the kitchen. The kitchen was definitely the biggest room so far, and had all the best cooking supplies. Everything was shiny and new and....well, he sort of caught himself gawking before snapping out of it and tugging Mari towards the food.

Mari chuckled lightly to him when he tugged her towards the food. She looked about, eyes wide as she went over everything. She found herself a pan and whatever food had been set out for them both. "English breakfast?" She asked excitedly as she grabbed some bacon and sausages and black pudding and whatever else she'd chosen. She never really got to make breakfasts like this, so she was, admittedly excited. She'd pretty much started cooking before she'd managed to reply to her, though it didn't seem like he was going to have much of a say in what they were eating anyway. She started frying everything up before looking back to Sage with a thoughtful hum. "Hey, I was thinking," she hummed lightly before giving a small smile. "How would you feel about another baby?" She asked with a small, nervy-sounding chuckle. "Not now, obviously. Once we've got a house sorted and everything. And I know we might not actually be able to, but I mean... there's no harm in trying, right?" She asked with a slightly cocked head. Silas was about a year old now... and she didn't really want too much of a gap between their next child if they did decide they wanted another one.

Sage just chuckled in response to her first question....if he'd said no, she probably wouldn't even hear him, since she was already happily bouncing around. He settled into a chair, more than happy to let her have her fun. He watched her happily...it was cute, really, the way she bounced around. He was caught off guard at her question about having another child, though. He looked at her in surprise for a moment before slowly nodding. "I wouldn't mind trying for another one," he hummed lightly. Then he pursed his lips. "But....are you sure?" She'd said she didn't want to go through any of that again....and if she got hurt giving birth again, he wasn't sure he could ever forgive himself. But, he supposed starting to try for one this week would be best...it gave them over nine months to figure out which house they wanted and get settled. Which, that wouldn't take long....Mari had set money aside for their honeymoon that they wouldn't be spending, so that would give them almost enough for one of the small cottages they wanted. And...this was the best time to try, while they had all week to themselves. A daughter would be nice....he couldn't deny that. (It would be cute if they got a daughter this time, lol)

(Yeah, that was what I was thinking! :)) Mari jumped about the kitchen happily, getting some plates and cutlery for the both of them. She was just more than thrilled with this little holiday home... it was gorgeous, it really was. She could only be grateful to the queen for lending it to the two of them. it was much warmer here than by the castle, so it was nice. She was excited to get down to the beach, too. She glanced back at him as she started to dish some of the food up. "I... yes," she hummed lightly. "I know it was difficult the first time, with Silas, but we'll know what to expect this time. We'll be ready for it. And if we have a place to stay then we'll have a bit of room, too," she told him gently before smiling and turning and handing him a fairly stuffed plate. "When we first got together, you said two would be nice anyway, did you not?" She asked with a bit of a hum. "Even if we can't manage another... we can have fun trying," she mused lightly to the boy before shaking her head again. Edited at May 8, 2023 12:19 PM by Belle

Sage hummed lightly, thinking about the girl's comment for a moment, taking the plate with a thankful grin. Eventually, he sighed slightly and nodded. "Alright," he hummed. He chuckled at her last comment and shrugged. "I can't say I don't want to try at least," he joked lightly, taking a bite of his food. It was definitely good...all of her cooking seemed to be good, though. "We'll have enough money for one of the small cottages we've been looking at, if we put the money we were going to use for this, since the stay is free," he pointed out. "So, we'll have plenty of time, even if you do manage to get pregnant this week," he chuckled lightly. But, he couldn't deny that he wanted another one...and he most definitely wanted to have some fun while they were here. Mari had sweet talked him a bit in the castle, and now that they were alone, he was looking forward to see how much of that came from her.

Mari smiled happily to the boy after a moment or two. She was glad to be around him... that was certain, and she was definitely glad he wanted another child. She knew the first time had been a bit... unplanned, rushed, and neither of them had exactly been prepared to be parents. They'd had everything they needed now, though... by the time another one came along, Silas would be out of all his baby clothes and the crib, so another baby would have everything he or she needed. Of course, it might not happen, but as she'd said she wasn't opposed to trying. She lit up at the comment about the cottages. "Oh, I know! I've had my eye on one for a while now, actually. I could have my mother to go and see it while we're away to see what she thinks," she chirped to him. She did love the idea of their own little home... her room didn't have enough space for three of them, and if they did have another, then they'd be way to crouched. She leaned in to peck his cheek. "Are we gonna eat here or outside?" She asked happily.
