"Found a girl I liked with a kid then she went back to the kid's father though, I don't blame her. She just wanted her kid to be happy, apparently he wasn't with me. Lost a few million from the company, that's all though." He murmured, taking a sip of vodka.

Rose nodded even though he couldn't see her. "Sorry about my reaction in that coffe shop...I wasn't ready to really see you and I didn't expect it..."

"... Coffee shop?" He asked, not understanding. "That was you?"

"No wonder I thought that lady was gorgeous," He slurred, taking another sip.

Caden's tone shifted, becoming laced with venom. "Yeah, you want to know why I always went back to liquor? Because it helped me deal with you, all the times I saved your life and you never apologized and I didn't snap was only because of it."
