Sage let out a tiny chuckle when the girl pulled him in, and he wrapped his arms around her, leaning so she was leaning backwards a bit. He'd admittedly forgotten about the crowd until he heard them all cheering and clapping and whistling. He pulled back, not wanting to make it awkward for anyone...them or the guests. He would have stayed locked up with the girl if he could...but he was in front of an audience. They could have that time together later. But now it was over....they had the whole rest of the evening to eat and just....enjoy it all. They had to open gifts, and eat, and whatever else they'd planned for the night. He really couldn't remember....Mari was his wife. His actual wife. She was his, and he was hers, too, which was almost too good to believe. They walked down from the alter hand in hand, and everyone was around them, all talking at once. Congratulating them, thumping him on the back, hugging Mari, and whatever else. The doctor must have noticed him tensing up at all the crazy attention and the mass around him, because he had the cake be brought out. He hadn't seen it...they'd tasted cakes and picked one...but the frosting was really amazing, and Amber and Silas were even included in their little family on it. But the leafy design matched Mari and their surroundings perfectly.

Mari couldn't help her grin as he kissed her, only she heard the crowd after a few moments and pulled away, a blush heavily on her face, her heart beating and chest aching the more she thought about this all... Sage was her husband, she couldn't be more thrilled about it. And, while she was excited about this party, all she wanted to do was pull him to she side and stare at him for a little while... finally, this was it, and they were together. All she could do was grin and nod at everyone, barely able to say anything in between comments of congratulations and questions as to what they were planning on doing now... she didn't have a clue, but she was thrilled about it all the same. The cake was amazing... and it looked perfect. Soon enough, though, things were coming to a close, and her heart was still playing at her chest, wanting out. People started to file out, and so she took both of his hands in hers an turned to him happily. "So... husband... what have we got planned now?" She asked with a grin. It'd take a while for her to get used to saying that. That Sage was her husband. But certainly did like the sound of it.

Sage didn't leave Mari's side for the rest of the wedding. It really did go by in a flash, and by the time Mari turned to him, he was quite ready to go off by themselves. He gave the girl a grin, and pointed to the tiny carriage that the doctor had hitched chaos up to. "We leave for our honeymoon," he chirped. "Let's go say goodbye to everyone and then we'll head out." He really meant just saying bye to her family, Silas, and Amber...Silas and Amber would be staying with the doctor. And he wanted to thank Anya for all her help, too, so he'd say bye to her too. Soon enough, though, they were on their way out. Chaos was easy to drive, so he really just gave him his head and he trotted along happily.

Mari nodded lightly to him after a few moments... all she could do was grin. She was so, so excited, she couldn't even put it into words how thrilled she was with this whole thing. The wedding was perfect... more marvellous than she could ever imagine. And so was Sage... in fact, on the drive over she was kind of just staring at Sage. It was such an odd feeling... that she could look at him and think 'Oh my god, he's perfect' and then he was hers, too... she was his, in every way she could possibly imagine. Perfect. It was a bit off to say goodbye to Silas, and of course amber. She'd barely been away from him, so the fact that the first time she'd be saying goodbye was to go somewhere far away was a bit scary, but it was nice all the same.

Sage noticed Mari's gaze land on him when they first started off, and he rather assumed she hadn't looked away at all by the time they neared the vacation home. That was alright....it was definitely hard for him to take his own eyes off the girl to focus on driving Chaos. It did make him feel a bit giddy though....the fact that she thought he was so perfect and amazing was nice, to say the least. He would miss Amber and Silas...but it would be nice to have some time just the two of them, too. They rounded the corner of the road and he pulled the carriage into a woody trail, which went on for maybe half a mile before they emerged into the clearing the beach and the vacation home was resting on. It really was a beautiful sight, and sage pulled the carriage up, settling chaos in a paddock quickly before taking their luggage and Maris hand, tugging her in the direction of the home. He wanted to get settled in a room and start this whole thing...he was definitely excited about it all, and quite pleased with himself for scoring this one.

Mari eventually did have to tear her eyes away from the boy after a moment... god, she was so excited about everything. They started towards the house, and it was gorgeous... she could hear the sea washing back and forth, and the cliff the house was settled on was simply magnificent. She just turned her head to Sage as they stopped, her hand clutching tightly around his. "How'd you manage to bag this place?" She asked with a happy smile to the boy. The man. Her husband. She was so excited, she couldn't make her heart slow. She needed to get this dress off and hang it up. It had been expensive... and she wanted to look after it. As they walked through the halls, she felt a gleeful smile wash over her face... it was pretty and had such a wonderful view of the ocean below them.

Sage chuckled lightly and looked over at the girl with a grin. "I just asked the queen. Said I wanted to surprise you. She likes you so she agreed to it," he chirped. "I figured it would be better to get a free place for this...save some money for a house. And I was able to still get a diamond for your ring." He really was excited about that....he hadn't thought he'd ever be able to get a diamond for the girl. But he'd decided to stop into the pawn shop, just to look around, and hed found an old, broken ring....so he was able to get it cheap, shine up the gem, and attach it to Mari's ring. He was definitely very glad about that. It was a nice surprise for both of them. They reached the room by then, and it really was a cute place. It was pretty too, with a great view of the ocean out of one window, and a large, cozy bed, and just a cozy place, well lit with natural light.

Mari gave a bit of a grin to him. She couldn't stop her smiles. Her cheeks hurt, and she didn't think she'd stopped since they'd left the wedding. "See! connections are important," she told him with a grin. She was so happy with everything... the wedding, the ring... which, was of course, wonderful. She hadn't expected a diamond... she hadn't needed a diamond to want to marry Sage, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise. It was gorgeous, and she loved that Sage had made it... it was like she had a bit of him, and it as absolutely wonderful. She couldn't get over any of it... replaying every moment of their most wonderful day. She entered the room with a joyful smile. It was cool... but a warm breeze blew through the open windows, making it feel open but safe and warm... it looked out of the white sandy beach, and the bright blue sea. She looked to Sage happily before taking a bag from him and putting it in the corner. "This is gorgeous, Sage," she told him gently.

Sage was looking around the room happily before watching the girl take in the sight. That was the best part of it all, he thought....that the girl was here with him, and her face was practically glowing. It made her seem so much more attractive, really. He gave her a wide grin when she took the bag and nodded in response to her comment as he worked on putting everything else away. "I knew it would be a good place, but it's better than what I imagined," he admitted with a bit of a chuckle. Once he'd set all of the bags down somewhere, he wandered over to the bed and flopped down on it with a slight huff of air, closing his eyes happily. It was definitely a very cozy bed....and the blankets on it were so soft, and warm. It had been a good day...a really good day. And he was certain the rest of their time here would be just as lovely. And he really couldn't wait for it all.

Mari turned to grin at him for a moment, then spotted the balcony as curtains blew gently to the sides. She squeaked before bouncing off, onto what had to be the largest balcony she'd ever seen... it was gorgeous, just going off the edge of the cliff. She gave an excited squeal before turning back to shout to Sage. "Sage, get your ass out here," she called with a happy-sounding laugh. She looked so happy... the oranges from the late evening sky bounced around the ocean, and was bouncing off the almost golden strange of her dark hair... it was all so beautiful. God, she couldn't be happier about any of this... it was so perfect. She couldn't say that enough. She was thrilled about this next week or so with Sage... to explore this new area with him, the holiday... mansion? The beach, everything. The bed looked insanely nice too... it was huge, and rounded at the end to make it look even larger. The sheets were fluffy and white, and the pillows looked so soft... it was all just so, incredibly wonderful.
