He was happy to cuddle for a bit. When the girl went to shower, he decided he should catch up on paperwork while keeping an eye on the baby, who was laying happily on their bed.

Aria finished showering, and got dressed. She hopped back in bed and played with Caroline for a bit before walking over to Sage doing his papers.

Sage glanced up at the girl when she came over and smiled at her before looking back down at the mess of papers all over his desk. "This is gonna take a while," he sighed, not wanting it to at all.

"Okay. We'll... see you later then?" Aria asked with a tilted head. She swooped up Caroline from the bed and headed out of the room, giving Sage a slight wave. Caroline started crying and Aria had to rock her back to sleep. "Daddy will be back soon." She promised the little girl.

Sage sighed and nodded, wishing he could be with them rather than do work. He felt his heart twist when Caroline started crying, and he sighed heavily. He'd just have to suck it up, he supposed.

Aria took Caroline outside and under a tree. She laid a blanket down and set Caroline down on it. The baby girl fussed, waiting for her dad to come. Aria could tell she was a daddy's girl. She giggled and played with the little gir happily.

Sage worked for a few hours, until around lunch time, before deciding he was done for now. He left the papers on the desk and got lunch for everyone before going to Aria and Caroline.

Aria smiled happily when Sage came outside with them. "You done?" She asked, wrapping her arms around him, and placing a quick kiss on his cheek. "Caroline missed you." She giggled.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "for now," he hummed. Then he smiled and scooped up Caroline. "I missed you too, baby girl," he chirped, planting a kiss on her pudgy baby cheek, which resulted in a happy coo from the girl.

Aria chuckled and smiled softly. She loved seeing Sage with Caroline, and sat down with a heavy sigh. The girl looked up at Sage and grinned happily.
