Maxine nodded and cuddled up to him "I love you..." She cooed gently "I hope you can too..." She admitted. She had to admit she was thinking similarly... Especially after Roxie sped up her pregnancy... She honestly couldn't believe Roxie had the audacity to ask for their help... But then again a war... Demon on demons no less... That was no laughing matter.

Maxine gave a smile and cuddled into the both of them briefly before she went to get Charlie a bottle from the fridge letting her father take this feeding.

A few weeks went by and she still hadn't quite figured out what she was good at as far as her demon powers... She'd gotten good at healing but that was about it... She was able to go out more in public now but she was still overwhelmed by heartbeats and sounds to a degree... She listened to music when she couldn't hone in on Sage's heartbeat... She kinda found it funny though... The very thing that got her into this situation was the same thing that was getting her out of it a bit. Today she had a day off though and decided she wanted spend as much time as she could painting or drawing... Something she hadn't really done for more then 10 minutes lately... Between work and Charlie and training with Sage she barely had a moment to herself. "Can we take a break today? From training?" She asked "I just want to relax and draw or paint or something today... Feels like forever since I got to do it last..." She admitted.

Maxine nodded "I get a day off next weekend too... You can have some time to yourself then and I'll look after things here." She assured "I promise... Thank you Sage." She cooed kissing him "And ice cream and a movie sounds... Incredible." She chuckled "I'm even gonna go to Lizzie's place... She's at work anyways... She told me if I wanted I could hang at her place to take 5 if I wanted." She cooed kissing the top of his head "I'll be back in a little bit..." She told him collecting her art supplies and heading off "Love you!" She called over her shoulder.

A few hours went by and Maxine checked in with Sage every hour... While also sending him pictures of the progress of the dragon painting she was working on the creature was fierce looking with a kind eye and was fairly real... Other then the painting shed done of Sage she'd never really done any what she'd call realistic pieces... (Even if fantasy creatures.) When she finally arrived home with the painting however she was more eager... Excited even as she set it aside and stood beside the couch where Sage was "I think I figured my power out..." She said.

"No not the painting!" She giggled before she paused "Wait you can do that?! Thats amazing!" She chirped happily "Why haven't you told me before now?" She asked curiously. Of course she was eager to show him what she could do but she was curious about this now.

"Ohhh I see..." she nodded "Well then it'd be kinda hard on you just for a painting or drawing wouldn't it?" she asked "I mean thats really awesome... but I couldn't do it... it leaves you too vulernable..." she pointed out. "Besides... If I want you to model for me all I'd ask is for you to take your shirt off babe..." Maxine smirked running a playful finger down from his collarbone to the waist of his pants looking at him with a playful teasing light in her eyes.
