"Hawke is just like that, if he can help somebody he will. If he knows who you are and doesn't like you though and gets the chance to kill you, he'll take it." She noted, walking infront of him, side eyeing him when he asked if he could come on one of her raids. "You'll have to ask Hawke, gotta prove you can go. Can't fight you stay here, help for the camp. Can't do either of those you'll probably get killed since if we get leaked we're done for. So, I do suggest you go talk to him about it and maybe you'll come. Sound like a plan?" She asked, turning him towards Hawke. |

Benjamin hesitated, there was a reason he had disappeared for 3 years after the murder. It left him great trauma, yet he quit his job. He shook his head snapping out of his own world, he looked up at Hawke. "So I was wondering if I could come" he looked around for a couple moments before turning his attention back onto Hawke. "Don't know what I need to prove but I'm sure I can." He added a a gentle small for reassurance. |

Hawke looked up at him from where he sat on a overturned crate, smoking a cigar. "Sure, just gotta fight me real quick. Blades, then we'll see how quick you can handle a bow or a crossbow." He explained, standing up, towering over Ben as he went and grabbed a dagger, turning back to him. "Ready when you are." He said calmly, terrifyingly, calmly. |

Benjamin had no words, "uh.. uhmm" he thought of an excuse, "I don't have a weapon" he nervously chuckled, he hadn't touched a blade since the murder of his own mother and father. "W- wh- why? Why can't I just come?" Benjamin stuttered a little, his hands started to tremble a little. He looked around a little trying to keep his emotions inside as he continued to make little excuses. "I'll carry stuff for you instead. This, this isn't that necessary is it?" He once again awkwardly chuckled. |

"I don't think you've understood yet but those raids are to get supplies and kill targets. You go to a raid, stay with your partner, bring your supplies with you, hope you find what you were assigned and then you get your ass out of there, make sense? Otherwise you'll be sent on missions, track people, become private eyes, eliminate targets. Normal stuff." He mused, tossing a knife to him. |

He caught the knife staring at it for a moment before respondin "Maybe I could jus help with raids. Missions are jus uh, not for me basically." He shifted his stance, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. "I enjoy raiding, it's more fun" he gave Hawke a reassuring smile |

Hawke nodded, understanding as he started to walk past, clapping Benjamin on the shoulder, chuckling. "Listen, I heard what you said about Rowan, I know all about you. Wine drunk, hm? Best times come from that. You called her hot earlier, if you want any chance with her I sugges taking missions, if you want it, I can make it happen." He chuckled, walking along casually. |

Benjamins eyes lit up, he hadn't felt this certain way ever since the incident happened. "Ill go" he turned looking at Hawke, he changed his demeter to more chill and casual. "I mean yeah I'll go, when's the first one" he stood there looking casual as he waited for a response. |

"You leave in four days, do try and collect everything you need. And please, don't be intimidated by anybody here. They may look mean, yet they've got hearts of gold. If you need something, they'll let you have some. And also, do have fun on the mission, once you've got the information you need, you should have time to do whatever. Missions last four days each, even if you got the information. Good luck." With that Hawke walked away, having practically just set the two up on a inescapable four day mission. (aweee okayyy we can continue tmmr!!) Benjamin softened his eyes, looking at the ground from a second. "Okay, thanks" Benjamin walked off towards the fire, he sat on the ground flashbacks haunting him till this day. Benjamin grabbed a small twig, beginning to trace random lines into the dirt. He yawned a little as the night sky swallowed the remaining sunlight. At least he had the mission to look forward to, he thought life could get better if he found someone more like him to love. Benjamin leaned against a log as he watched the stars twinkle in the sky, he eventually dozed off. |
