Another story of my dad,

He was in the navy at the time, he was on a boat in Greece and it was super hot outside, his weaponry he had on the side of the boat (which was wood) caught fire and he had to jump off the boat, into the water, climb back up onto the boat and wring his jacket off to put out the fire.
