"Yeah. And you?" He asked her, following her. Holy shit. I forgot how pretty she was..... He thought as Cass closed the door. He followed her to the house for lunch

Cass nodded. After putting Salem in the field, she escorted Caleb to the house for lunch. The same table from last night filled with a new array of food. "Caleb, come on in, help yourself" Mal saw them both enter, her eyes filled with delight. Cass bent down to stroke the dogs as they almost ploughed in to her. "Breakfast, lunch and dinner have already had enough food today" Mal scorned. Cass chuckled as they pushed their faces into hers, licking her almost to death.

Caleb smiled as Cass greeted the dogs. "Thank you, ma'am." Caleb said to Mal as he sat down, leaving a place on his left for Cass to sit if she wanted. Caleb began eating by the time the rest of the guys came in. Jaxon plopped down on Caleb's right.

Mal smiled and turned to continue serving the food before seating herself next to John. John stood before everyone tucked in. "I know we did't get a chance yesterday but I'd like you all to welcome Caleb as his first official day on the job" The staff on duty welcomed Caleb. "Caleb, we are very lucky to have you hear and feel free to make yourself at home as much as possible. We want to make your first full day a success" John raised his glass to him as did everyone else to cheers him. Cass sat down next to Caleb on his right. She smiled and cheers him too. "You're officially one of us" She elbowed him with a big grin on her face. She then turned to tuck into the food.

Caleb felt like this was a large family who just opened their arms to a rodeo guy, offering a job with a beautiful woman there too. "Guess I am." He answered Cass, smiling at her

Once lunch was over, Cass headed outside, the staff passing her to commence their daily choices. She stretched as she wandered over the wooden railing of the fence and leaned on it. Admiring the view.

Caleb walked up and leaned on the rail next to Cass. "Hey." He said, looking at her. "The sun compliments your hair." He murmured

Cass felt Caleb's presence as he approached. The warmth of his body close to hers. Her green eyes twinkled at him as she turned her head to look at him. "You really think so?" She said tipping her fedora by way of greeting. Her plaid shirt a mixture of black and white that really accentuated her features.

"Yeah." He murmured, tucking a piece behind her ear and letting his hand linger for a moment before clearing his throat and pulling his hand away.

Cass held her breath as he moved his hand towards her, the heat of his hand, making her cheeks blush slightly. She watched as he pulled away. Surprise made her eyes widen. She looked away before he could catch her cheeks blushing further.
