Sage nodded, face softening. "I don't mind waiting," he promised, not wanting her to feel bad about it. He'd been excited, sure, but....he wanted her to be happy. Besides, waiting was probably the more responsible thing to do.

She pulled him back onto the bed, snuggling on top of him, just having her eyes closed. "Night, babe" she says, falling asleep.

Sage wrapped his arms around her, humming a goodnight to her, amused at how quickly her emotions could change. He honestly found it rather cute though...and he was tired enough. So, he fell asleep, fine with having her on top of him.

The next morning, Amira woke up snuggling Sage's side. She closed her eyes again, not wanting to get up yet. Sleep evaded her, so she stood up off the bed. "I'm gonna go get dressed real quick, alright?" She said, grabbing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She hurries to the bathroom, changing quickly, and hurries back to Sage. She sighs, seeing him wait for her. She climbs into his lap, breathing in his scent. "You make me feel safe." She admitted to him. "I love you, Sage." She added, kissing his jaw. "We need to head to school. Let's go grab your schedule and some food before we head out." They walked hand in hand downstairs to the kitchen table. She looked at his schedule. "We are in almost all the same classes." She noted, looking more thoroughly, "We don't have biology or math together, but the other 3 periods, we can be together." She set the schedule down and looked into his eyes, wrapping her arms around him. She stretched up onto her tippy-toes and kissed him. "I'll be right back." She said, quickly jogging to her house, grabbing her backpack, a lunch, and a snack for the two of them. She jogged back, ready to go. "Alright, handsome. Let's head out." She said, taking his hand and walking out his door.

Sage had shifted when she woke up, half asleep but knowing they had to get ready for school. He nodded when she said she'd get dressed, waiting for her to come back and drawing her in again. "I love you too," he mused. Though, he sighed when she said they had to get ready for school. He didn't really like the place. But he followed her downstairs, fixing his hair and adjusting his piercings with a quick glance in the mirror, and then looking over at her as she spoke up. "Cool," he chirped happily, heading out with a grin once she moved to walk out the door.

They walked to the school and went their seperate ways for the first class. As always, the teacher gave her a dirty look. Yeah, I hate you too. I don't even want to be here. She thought back at the teacher, glaring at him. The first and second periods seemed to drag on. You have Sage for the rest of the day. Patience. She anxiously waited for the bell to ring, and when it did, Amira shot up, walking briskly to the door and to her next class. She sat down, waiting for Sage and making sure nobody took the spot next to her.

Sage smiled at her and gave her a goodbye kiss before they seperated, not really paying much attention in his first few period before practically running to the cfirst class they had together, plopping down next to her happily.

"Hey." She said, sliding her hand over to hold his. She pulled out her old notes before passing them to her. "We have a quiz..." She said, "Study quick." The words Pop Quiz Today! No Notes During Quiz Time were plastered on the whiteboard. Amira mentally groaned at her teacher. The teacher passed out the quiz, and Amira, surprisingly, finished first out of the whole class. She obtained the homework and finished that while sitting and waiting for the rest of the hour to end. The rest of the school day passed in a blur. Sage was with her, holding her hand, the whole time. Stepping out of the school, Amira spun and kissed Sage. "Let's head home, yeah?" She suggested, tugging him along. "What time will your parents be home?"

Sage raised an eyebrow when she slid him the notes, throwing a rather annoyed glance at the teacher. He'd literally just gotten to class....and she expected him to take this? That was rather unfair, in his opinion. He glanced over things quickly and then handed the notes back, filling in what he could on the quiz and then just circling random answers, not really caring all that much about it. Once that was done he labored through the homework, definitely glad when the school day was done. He grinned and kissed her back happily, shaking his head. "Dad'll be gone all week, and my Lucilla - my step mom - won't be back until tomorrow evening," he noted.

"Good. Plenty of ime for fun." She said, taking his hand and walking to his house. She walked in the door and immedietly went to his room, plopping down her backpack. She kissed him. Slowly, but building, hinting at where she wanted this to go tonight.
