The note said, "Wanna feel high with me? If so, meet me outside. I'm waiting for you so we can catch our flight on time. Don't worry, I have someon who can take care of the horses, but if you feel uncomfortable leaving them, we can bring them. There's enough room" and there were also two plane tickets.

She grabbed one of her packed backpacks, the tickets, and the picture she had of Speed. She raced outside, and leapt into Kvothe's arms, wanting to saty there forever.

Kvothe smiles. "You ready to go?" he asks her. He did pack extras in case she accidently forgot to bring something.

"Yes, yes, yes! Let's go!" And she kept her arms around his neck. She grabbed his hand and her bag, almost dragging him to her truck. "Do we have keys? Snacks? Do we have the speed check for TSA, or normal? This is so exciting!" She was almost squeeling as she climbed into the truck and buckled in a hurry. Edited at November 6, 2024 09:01 PM by Blue Diamond

Kvothe chuckled at her excitement. He then looked down sheepishly. "I forgot to mention. We are taking my private jet" he added. "I can drive, I know the way to the aeroport" he says, kissing her and taking the keys from her hands gently.

She was taken by surprise at his kiss. She stared at him with a smile, then grabbed his face and kissed him for a while before he even started the truck. "I love you." She breathed, "I was worried you didn't feel the same." She let go of him and took his hand. She held his hand the whole way to the airport. He loves me. He loves me. She couldn't believe that this god of a man was hers. Not officially, of course, but hopefully soon. He kissed me, so kissing him back should have been okay, right? I just won't kiss him unless we become an official couple or he kisses me first. Then all bets are off, and i'm screwed. She thought with a smile.

Kvothe smiles, overjoyed that she kissed him back. "I love you too" he says, nuzzling his nose into her hair. "You ready to go?" he asks, reving the engine before backing out of the parking spot.

She giggled when he revved the engine. "Well now I don't know. Won't your mother be angry that you're running off with a nobody? I know you think i'm great, but does she like me? She only knows of me as a ranch-hand..." She looked away, embarassed. "I love you." She muttered after.

He shook his head, "She came from a poor family. She went to a riding academy on scholorship. She was an amazing rider though, and gained fame after that. She would likely feel nostalgia if you bring any of it up and she'll love you" he says with a wink. He then drives to the aeroport.

When they arrive at the airport, many stewards helped both Delilah and Kvothe into the plane and get settled. She was gripping Kvothe's hand tight, scared. "Kvothe? What if I fall asleep? Will you wake me up when we get there?" She asked. "I love you. I'm never going to love another person again." She vowed to him, "I love you too much."
