(His human... cute) Cassius Abel - The window opened with angry gusto, Cassius frowned, listening to the voice on the other side. It was his human... the human. The human hadn't seen him and was already closing the window, Cassius blinked shooting forward with unnatural speed. Knocking the human back as he went through the closing window. Cassius snorted, he was on the floor, the human knocked underneath him. Cassius got up, groaning. He rubbed his chest where the stitches were. Cassius spotted blood on his pants, he frowned, he knew he wasn't bleeding, which meant it could only be the human. Cassius grabbed the human, his fingers gentle on his thin skin. His hands searched his body until his got to his upper arm. Cassius growled, holding the arm in his hands, his callused fingers skating gently around the wound. Fera coursed through his body, did the other vampire do this? Cassius looked up at the human's face, underneath him. "Who did this?" He said, his eyes flashing with anger. He had never felt this way for a human, like he could rip someone apart just because they so much as touched him.

(Okay that's really cute- also, sorry its short!) Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent was shoved back by something. He hit the ground, yelping quietly at the pain coursing through his back and tail bone. He looked up quickly to yell at whoever just knocked him down, he was quite shocked, and struck with fear, when he saw it was the vampire. AKA, his kidnapper. Vincent's eyes widened when the kidnapper grabbed his arm, yanking it away from Vincent and brushing his fingers around the wounds. Causing Vincent to wince at the touch. "It's nothing. And by no one. Are you here to fucking kidnap me again you creep? Or are you here to kill me?" He spat angrily, prying the man's fingers away from his skin as he tucked the arm against his chest. Trying to hide a wince at the pain of the wound being touched. Vincent shrunk back when his kidnapper looked like he was going to come closer. Edited at August 6, 2024 10:48 PM by Oakwood Barn

Cassius Abel - Cassius narrowed his eyes at the human when he shrunk away from him, taking his arm back. The vampire sighed inwardly, "no, I just came here to... check in on you.." he said slowly, realising how weird it sounded, he kidnapped the prince then let him go and now is checking up on him? Cassius growled snapping out of his thoughts, "but it seems that you are not doing any better here" he said, his eyes lingering on the humans arm. Cassius sighed, stepping away from the human, getting off him. The vampire looked around the room, his eyes glittering off every priceless looking item. The only thing that mattered to him in this room was his human. The human. Cassius cleared his throat, "if you tell me who did it, I... I will trade my name for it" he said, turning and looking at the human. The power of names was mighty, and the prince would have the option to turn him over to the authorities for kidnapping a royal. Cassius just hoped he didn't.

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent clamped his eyes shut tightly. Everything was overwhelming him. Today had been too long, hehadnt gotten any food since breakfast, his arm hurt, and his kidnapper was in his room. "I don't cre for your name anymore! Just- Just leaveme alone! I'm not telling the person who kidnapped me anything!" He snapped at the vampire. He did want to know his name. But not as much as he had wanted to know a few hours ago. He was so done with everything. Vincent just wanted to sleep for eight years then eat his body weight in cookies. His hazel eyes bore into the vampire, his gaze overwhelmed, tired, and scared. He wanted to be safe... he wasn't safe anywhere...

(Ooh, emotions talk..) Cassius Abel - Cassius looked at the human, his eyes soon dropped to the floor in shame. This human had every right to hate him, so why did he keep trying to convince himself that the human didn't? Why did he keep trying to make things decent between them? Cassius looked back up into the humans eyes, he studied the human. Seeing fear, pain, and exhaustion. Cassius swallowed, he needed to do something. Cassius walked across the room to the human, pausing a awkward 2 feet's away. "I don't know what your family did to you, but I know what I did. And I apologise, but that's not enough.. you deserve more. I know it sounds crazy coming from me, a vampire? Who knew they were capable of this? But the truth is, I was once human too, and I have felt what you are feeling. Caught between two very dangerous sides, but you want nothing but support and safety." Cassius's gaze dropped to his boots, "In truth, I feel I owe you, I don't know what for, but I want to help you, you just have to trust that I will do it, I can't give you all that you want, but I can give you some freedom and I will protect you. I may be a monster, but that dosent define me, and I will try to give you what I owe you. Monsters have dignity too" Cassius said, ending the speech with a bitter laugh, he looked back up at the human, "all I ask you come with me, if not for a day, if you don't like it, I will return you here" he said, lifting his pale hand in offering. Emotions swirled deeply within Cassius, emotions that he hadn't felt in a while. The weight on his shoulders released, making him feel light and calm.

(Mhm. I hope I made this like his breakdown is from how tired and overwhelming everything was being :)) Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent scrunched up his face, shaking her head. "I'm not going with you..." He said weakly. "I can't go with you." He muttered, voice shaking as his emotions seeped into his voice. He didn't want to be hurt, he didn't want to be a royal, he didn't want to go with the vampire, he didn't want to be scared, he didn't want to lie, he didn't want to be taken way, he didn't want to leave, he didn't want to... he didn't want to... Vincent sank to the floor, burying his face in his knees, his raw forearm throbbing painfully. "Just leave me alone." He mumbled, his emotions loosening his tongue. He needed to suck it up. But maybe it was because of his tired he was, how done with the day he was, that he was in pain... he couldn't do anything now. He just wanted to sit here. Alone. "Please leave..." He repeated weakly, burying his face further into his hands. Edited at August 7, 2024 03:41 AM by Oakwood Barn

Cassius Abel - Cassius watched the human, he was breaking down, he could see it. The human stated his opinion, and asked him to leave. A wedge of hurt stabbed the vampire, but he backed away from the human, grabbing the window sill behind him. "Alright, I will go" he said, Cassius didn't know how long the human wanted him gone, but if he required Cassius to be gone.. forever, then he would do it. Cassius turned his back to the human, opening the window quietly, the vampire catching the rain on his body so that it didn't get in the room behind him. "Goodbye" Cassius said under his breath, no louder then a whisper. With his last words hanging in the air, he launched forward, out onto the other side of the windowsill and shutting the window. The vampire slowly climbed down the side of the castle, allowing every torn muscle, organ and skin cell to hurt, he deserved it. The sight of the broken and scared human flashed through his head again, did he cause that? Or was it something bigger? Cassius shook his head, praying it was something bigger. Something Cassius could kill to help him, it was the only way forward that he saw. The only way to help the human. Cassius got to the bottom of the wall and slumped against it, he was to scared to go home, unwilling to risk the other vampire finding him. Cassius looked back up at the window above him, at least 200 feet above him. At least from here he could protect him from outside threats. Cassius put his head against the cold stone wall behind him. Not that there was not much he could protect him against. Cassius knew that the danger was coming from the inside of the castle for that human. But for this once, he was going to listen to the human.

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent heard the vampire leave and looked up, confused as to why. He didn't think he would actually listen... As soon as the vampire got out of his room he scurried up, dragging himself to the window and closing it quickly. Vincent sank to the floor again, curling in on himself. Tears began welling in his eyes as he choked out a small whimper. He was so tired... Vincent eventually cried himself to exhaustion, closing his eyes, he slipped into sleep. ~(Okay, Since it's going to be a new day, I'm just going to put a weather report thing here for the day.)~ ~Cold breeze, 45°F, light Grey clouds.~ Vincent was shaken from his sleep by frantic movements. He opened his eyes blearily, rubbing his red eyes. "Jackson?" He mumbled, seeing the man's black hair. Jackson sighed in relief, letting go of them. "Fuck, tiu can't scare me like that Vincent... I came in and you were just slumped here." He said, hooking his arm under Vincent's and helping pull him up. Vincent stumbled to his feet, gripping Jackson's clothes tightly. "Vincent, you need to lie down. Properly, this time. I can notify your mother." Jackson told him, voice calm as possible. Vincent mumbled, trying to protest, but he didn't have the energy. Jackson helped Vincent to his bed, allowing Vincent to flop down on the silky fabrics and curl up again. Jackson covered him with the blankets, tucking him in. Vincent tried to protest again, but he didn't have the energy to. Jackson smiled gently, "Sleep well, Vincent." He said, taking his leave and closing the door behind him. Vincent felt the cold air of the day seeping into his room. The cold breezes having opened his window once again. But he didn't hate it. He didn't know if the vampire was gone, and he didn't know if the vampire had listened, but he was to tired to care. So cold breeze contrasted the blankets covering his warm bodies, lulling him to sleep quickly.

(A Single Shingle?) Cassius Abel - Cassius sat with his back pressed to the old wall behind him, exhaustion and pain flowed openly through him, his eye lids drooped, telling him he needed to rest. But Cassius was still on edge about the other vampire, and he couldn't leave himself out in the open like this for him to die. Cassius stood up, rubbing a hand over his eyes and looked back up the window where the prince was, Cassius frowned. Perhaps he could sleep on the roof up there, less chance of being found and he would be closer to the prince, closer to kill anything that caused harm. With a shrug, Cassius began to scale the rocky stone wall, again. Cassius was huffing by the time he had made it to the top of the roof, his pale fingers clawing at what little purchase he could find. The vampire was laying on a almost flat roof surface, close to the window, but out of view. Cassius layed there for a little, allowing himself to breath slower and close his eyes. Falling asleep under the stars. - (Rise and shine princess!) The sun was disgustingly warm against the vampire's face, trying to pry his eyes open. And somewhat winning. Cassius woke up with a growl, his fingers moving to his face to try and cool it down, he had been laying unmoving in the sun for to long. Cassius hissed towards the sun and moved closer to the princes window, hoping to find some relief of its ever-bearing light. As the lanky vampire walked towards the window, a single shingle slid out from underneath him. Cassius shouted, a rare sound. His pale fingers searched for purchase among the slippery shingles, still heading towards the end of the roof. Cassius yelped as his fingers locked around a drainpipe while the rest of his body was hanging 200 feet from the ground, Cassius never liked heights. The vampire released one hand from the pipe and dug it into a set of shingles infront of him, eager to pull himself back up. After a few more shingle destroying minutes, Cassius was back up on the roof, panting. Non-existent sweat dripped down his face. This week clearly wasn't his week. Cassius slowly- and carefully treaded back to the window, sitting on the sill. Watching the sunrise.

(Sorry it's short! My Head hurts lol) Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent woke again around midday, stirring from his sleep he rubbed his eyes aggressively. Looking around he noticed he was alone, the cold wind rippling the curtains. He flipped thr blankets covering his body back, flipping his feet over the edge of the bed. Planting his feet on the cold ground. He stared at the ground, his head swimming. Vincent shoved himself to his feet, swaying slightly. Why was he so lightheaded? Vincent stumbled to his bathroom, gripping anything he could grab onto. Wall, doorframes, chairs, anything. Vincent stepped into his bathroom, gripping the marble counter tightly. He stared at himself in the mirror, his eyes traveling over his messed up red hair, his tired hazel eyes, and down further. His crumpled pajamas, his raw, scabbed forearm, his disheveled pants. He placed his elbows on the counter, burying his face in his hands. Vincent needed a minute. Maybe more then a minute. Probably more then a minute. Edited at August 7, 2024 05:05 PM by Oakwood Barn
