Matt slowed down a little to answer Elowyn, mostly so it was easier for her to hear over to the sound of the sand being churned up. "That would be nice, but i dont think that would go down too well with your parents." He said, only letting out a small laugh just to finish off his sentence. As she let go he sped back up, ducking a little as they sped under the bridge, towards the choppier side of the beach.He would have gone further if it wasnt for the police car right up at the edge by the rocks, clearly blocking the road off. "Ah." He said to himself, slowing down to figure out what to do. They had clearly spotted him, but they were far away. Far enough away for him to flee- and so thats what he did. He slowed down quite rapidly, leaning far into the turn as he pulled the bike round, only hoping Elowyn would be holding on wuite firmly. He pulled the bike back up and straightened it out before twisting the handle, speeding the bike up a little more and back in the same direction as they had come from. The police were now clearly following, and the only thing Matt could do was make the spilt decision to trail along the water, make it harder for them to be seen- so he did. He narrowed his eyes only a bit as the water sprayed up either side, uttering a small apology as he did so. Eventually, they were off the beach and the police were nowhere to be seen.

Wyn simply chuckled in response to him, watching the waves firmly as they passed, only glancing up at his breath. Instinctively, she curled her arms around him and held onto the bike with one hand. She knew what he was going to do as soon as the cop car started moving, leaning with him in the turn and keeping her arms held ightly around him. She leaned into him, trying to keep low against his body. She glanced over her shoulder, letting out a breathless giggle as they were chased. She wasn't supposed to enjoy this. But she did. She leaned her helmet against him, peering out at the water as they raced by. She simply let out a soft laugh at what sounded like his apology, only speaking again when she was sure they were in the clear. "That happen often?" She teased.

Matt slowed down as he made his way back up the rather narrow road, cruising the bike a little due to the fact he didnt want to push it too much. The warmer it got, the more cautious he got. "Uh, yeah I suppose. Often enough to know they dont care once they catch you." He shrugged, looking either direction as they reached the junction. He turned out and onto the road to loop round, starting back off towards the campus. "I didnt think you would enjoy it so much, given the fact you hate me and all." He mused, dropping one hand off the handlebar to wipe a fly away from his visor. The bike swerved a little due to the favt they were on a corner, and he had to quickly pull it back into place. After about ten or so minutes though they were back at the point Matt had picked her up. He pulled off the road and stopped, switching the bike off and pulling the visor down. "Like I said, one off thing." He simply said, turning round to look at Elowyn.

Wyn simply nodded, sitting up and setting her hands against the bike. She could tell they were heading back to campus, so she focused on enjoying the ride. She rolled her eyes at him for the comment and shrugged. "You're the one who hates me, remember? Plus, you're a lot easier to get along with when you aren't tossing a snide remark at me every two seconds." She shrugged, only scrambling for him at the wonk- corner. Otherwise, she kept her hands off him as much as possible. She gave a reluctant huff as they pulled up, lightly taking the helmet off. She raised her eyebrows at his comment, flicking his visor up. "Whatever you say." She mocked, leaning in and pressing a purely playful kiss to his nose, about the only place she could reach. She swung off the bike after and pressed the helmet into his hands. "Oh, by the way, Leah should be ready for you now. Thanks for the ride." She teased, turning and making her way up the stairs.

"Well you'll have to put up with it then." Matt said with an amused tone, tapping the bike consistently as he waited for Elowyn to get off. Once she had he started the bike back up, slinging the spare helmet on a hook where it had been, safely out the way in causing any sort of danger. He raised his eyebrows at the seemingly playful kiss on his nose, frowning as she looked back at him. "Uncalled for." He said, doing his best to hide the amused smile that had come with the action. As she started to make her way up the stairs he replied to Elowyn's last comment, looking up at the building leah was in. "Much rather her than you." he said with a shrug, though his words didnt come off as too insulting given his tone. "I'd rather go back now though. Dont utter a word to my parents, thanks." He added, making sure she was out of sight until riding home.

"Deal with it." Wyn shrugged, mocking his words from earlier. She rolled her eyes at his comment. "That's because you couldn't handle me if you tried." She said sarcastically, chuckling. "Yeah, yeah. Fuck off." She said, her tone similiar to his in that it wasn't entirely insulting. She simply continued up the steps and into her dorm, smiling slightly as she made her way to her room. She had no doubt that sleep would come now.

Soon enough Matt had gotten home, and managed to make his way up to his room without problem. He badly wanted to move out of his parents house but they seemed highgly against it, doing well to guilt trip him every sinfgle time he bought it up.The house was definitely big enough to avoid them both though, so that was something. He fell asleep soon after he had showered and gotten into bed, having grown quite tired from the events of the day.

Matt woke up the next day rather late into the morning, it bordering 12pm. Even then he wouldnt have woken up if it wasnt for his mother calling on him, mentioning his ame every couple of seconds as she made her way to his room. Eventuall she arrived, starting to explain what the plans were for that evening. Considering their new business partners were overall quite rich and talked very highly of, most of the evening would be spent either with them going round theirs, or the other way round. Matt could only grown as his mother mentioned Elowyn though, waving her off within seconds. "Spend time with her, get to know her," all that type of bullshit that he had heard before. Most definitely not.

Elowyn slept- for a whole 5 hours. She woke up at 7:00 or so, then attended a business lecture hall at 8:00. It took an hour and a half, so she snatched a granola bar and called that it. She worked on a random assignment for an hour, ate something substantial, and then went to track. Practice went for two hours, and then she had to drive back to her parents house to get ready for whatever stupid family meet they were going to do witht he Carusos. Seeing Matt again wasn't an experience She wanted anytime... ever. But she got home, showered, and pulled on a nice, flattering sundress. The length was probably pushing her mother's limits, since it barely hit the halfway mark of her thigh on a good day, but by the time she finished curling her hair and threw on basic makeup, her Mother was too busy shoving her out the door to care. A win, in her book. Apparently they were heading to the other family's house, which meant she would probably be hovering in a corner doing nothing, or chatting with her dad when he got a spare moment.

Matt had to make the most of his freedom while he still had it after he had woken up, findig out they were coming in the evening. For the next couple of hours he spent it with friends, only managing to make it back home just in time for Elowyns family to be there. He slipped through the door as they arrived, shutting it essentially in their faces, listening to the apology from her mother. As much as he wanted to just go upto his room and stay there, his father had other plans. He did his best to quickly shower and change, putting on a solid black top and grey tracksuit bottoms, his hair still damp as he joined both families. He sat down in the corner a little away from them, fiddling with his chain until he remembered he didnt actually have to be involved. He was about to pull his phone out when his mother spoke to him, looking a little annoyed. "Why dont you show Elowyn around whilst we get started?" She asked, gesturing towards the girl. Matt frowned and followed her gesture, leaning his hesd back agaisnt the wall. Brilliant.

By the time they got there and Matt shut the door in their faces, Wyn was already wondering why she had even bothered with a dress. At least it made her feel nice, to some extent. Less like shit than She usually did. It was form fitting, navy with a simple white floral pattern, and the sleeves left her shoulders bare since they looped around her bicep instead. She was in white pumps and practically twiddling her thumbs as he parents showed her off to the Carusos. She was really only there as a trophy daughter, and to hang out with Matt. Neither of which she wanted to do for the moment. He came down looking just as lovely as always, perhaps moreso- and of course in the laziest outfit ever. Sweatpants and a shirt. Great.
