After the golden mare was done interacting she whinnied to the colt and nickered to the stallion (Mystery passed away yesterday...... :( )

Letting him know she was taking the colt back to their home, she wanted to give Phantom and Caleb their space to catch up by themselves. She disappeared into the wilderness, the foal circling Caleb and his sire as a goodbye before disappearing after his dam.

She walked past again and noticed that 2 of the horses Caleb was with were gone and saw him on the stallions back, the horse seemed to be in control and gave Caleb a little scare, curious, Lyra walked over to them "Nice horse you got there! But..." She looked around "What happened to the other two?" Lyra asked with a smile, oblivious to the fact he was/is dealing with wild horses

caleb watched the mare and foal wander off "nice little family you got there boy, still got the herd?" He said to phantom softly. Phantom nickered as a yes. Caleb watched Lyra walk over. "Oh them two" he said half unsure of what to tell her. "They've gone back to this big boys herd" he added patting phantom. The stallion tossed his head and pawed at the ground.

Lyra shook her head slightly shocked at his answer "Wait... They're wild?!" She looked at the weary stallion as he pawed the ground, he was a amazing looking horse. Lyra took a step back and controlled her breathing so she didn't spook him too much and looked at Caleb "How... Did you get on his back?" She asked both shocked and impressed by his clearly amazing horse whispering skills

caleb looked at lyra and patted phantoms neck calming him down. "he chose me" caleb said. caleb first met phantom when he was 15 and theyd been close ever since. phantom helped convince caleb to buy a jumping horse. phantom haddle let anyone else near him let alone touch him

Lyra couldn't help but smile at Caleb's answer "Wow... That's nothing other than incredible! That horse must trust you with his life ey?" She said looking at Phantom, she made a quiet clicking sound then tossed a carrot on the ground near the stallions legs

Phantom looked at the girl and stomped his foot. He ate the carrot and turned his head to one side as if to look at Caleb. Caleb smiled and patted the stallion neck

Lyra smiled as the stallion gave in and ate the carrot, she looked at Caleb "If your worried about me trying to catch Phantom, don't be, i can see how much he means to you" Lyra reassured him

caleb looked at her "you wouldnt be able to catch him if you tried" he said stroking the stallions neck

Lyra nodded and chuckled then walked away to feed the horses
