He looked up at her from the first story. "Probably both." He called up, his hands on his hips but still retaining a masculine stance. He watched her swing over the edge. With a smile on his face. He flinched like he was gonna catch her or something as she flipped over. He grinned for the first time. "Yeah!" He cackled up at her. "YEAHH! YOU ARE TOTALLY A BAT!" He made the 'yes!' Elbow jab motion, pointing up at her. Definitely idiot energy.

I love how when any of your characters have their hands on their hips it's either "masculine" or "sassy mom energy")) Tempe let out a triumphant squeal like noise at the confirmation that she was, indeed, a bat. "I'M A BAT!" Said Bat did an excited little shimmy, her wings rustling excitedly. "NATE, I'M A BAT. ARE YOU LOOKING? ARE YOU LOOKING? LOOK. LOOK AT ME." She called, the exact same inflection as a proud toddler showing off to their mother.

thats because theres no inbetween, there is physically no other way for a man to have his hands on his hips)) He laughed up at her, it didn't sound terrible or crazy like a hyena's, he just laughed. He flinched again as she shimmied. "Be careful Temperance, you're gonna fall," he called up through cackling. "I AM LOOKING, YOURE A BAT."

"Then the pickup line would actually be true, wouldn't it?" Tempe joked, registering his concern. "You'll catch me anyway." She shrugged, grinning. "I AM. I AM, I'M A-" She went for another excited shimmy, but gravity promptly decided today was not her day. She let out what was more of a thrilled shriek than anything as she fell, landing flat on her back with her wings still curled around her. ((*two years later* "Hey, Tempe, did it hurt?" "...Nate, no." "...when you fell from that two story hotel room?" *cackling* "I'm gonna beat you with a shoe the next time you tell that joke."))

-DYING-)) He snickered up at her. Crossing his arms. Then the shimmy came- he was gonna say something but she was pretty much already on the floor at his feet by the time he put his hand out. He looked down at her down a moment. "..so, did it hurt.." intending to ask the pick-up line now that she mentioned it. An evil look on his face. he gon help her up))

Tempe flopped her wings out of her face and glared up at him as he started, but she figured she would give him his moment. "...when?" She asked flatly, glaring up at him with the most exasperated expression.

His grin spread. "When you fell from that roof?" He snapped his fingers and gave her the finger guns, giggling. Then he stepped to the side and offered his hand to help her up. "Dude you were definitely a bat you should've seen it."
Tempe simply gave him a flat stare. "No. No it did not." She huffed, smiling reluctantly at the finger guns and the giggle. She took his hand and pulled herself to her feet, rustling her wings with a grin. "I know, I wish I could have. I bet it looked epic."

He felt better about her, strangely, because she was willing to do that. And because she couldn't help but laugh. "It was awesome, even the fall." He snickered. "Oh! While we're out here." He pointed behind her, to a shiny, red and black car, black on the hood, canopy and two dots on the trunk. It had a about a 6 inch lift. And a hood vent. "That there is the car in question, ze Ladybug." He smiled.

"Everything I do is awesome, you should know that by now." Tempe mocked, tilting her head at the car behind him with a grin. "The Ladybug?" She asked teasingly, jogging her way over to the car and walking around in a circle, a curious gleam in her eyes.
