Tyra flinched "that means your gonna want it solve this quickly, right?" Tyra said looking over his shoulder at the file, "so, who was murdered or is it still being investigated?" She asked

Lucifer sighed a little. "It means someone is going to pay for messing with ME, of all celestial beings." He growled under hi breath. "If I glanced over your shoulder correctly, John Lorez. Normal guy. Worked at the docks. Got involved in a fight and pow, dead." Lucifer snorted.

Tyra shook her head, "does he have any family?" She asked, glancing at him sorrowly, she had grown up with such a guy but had not spoke to him for years, Tyra looked at Lucifer and watched him, somehow in such a moment her heart betrayed her, thumping around like a galloping horse, as she noticed his perfect handsome features and amber eyes. Tyra shook her head, 'Now is NOT the time' she told herself.

Lucifer thought about it for a moment. Come on, he knew almost everyone in the city... who was this guy. "I don't think so. All deceased." he finally answered, his black eyebrows arching slightly as his eyes turned to Tyra. "We should go check it out. I'll meet you there." he said with a smile, going out and getting in his car before driving away. Lucifer drove to the address that was listed in the case file, getting out and shutting his car door. He strode in to look around, seeing police investigators already there and having numbered the scene. Edited at October 24, 2023 06:45 PM by Wild West Warmbloods

Tyra drove to the scene and exited her car, looking around, she potted Lucifer, "consider this part of the investigation, what does your container look like?" She asked, pulling out her notebook, she tilted her head at Lucifer and smiled.

Lucifer glanced around, burying his hands in his pockets with a slight huff. He knew the detective, and probably the whole station, would fin it weird that some of the biggest drug deals went down right here and his container was stolen right here. They were going to wonder what was in the container, and he couldn't tell them... which would make them even more suspicious. Lucifer turned as the detective walked up. "Like every single other container here, I'm afraid." He swept his hand across the many old red shipping containers.

Tyra groaned, "you didn't think to paint it glittery pink?" She asked, then shook her head, rearranging her hair into a high ponytail. "Well, let's go look at this dead body, Partner" Tyra said, smiling and walking towards the body, her body swinging into a sexy stride.

"Glittery pink? Does that color seem to even me in my vocabulary?" Lucifer swept a hand down his black on white theme before following her. -Aha, I think my devilish charm has worked it's magic. With how much she hated me at first I didn't think it could happen- He resisted a snort, coming up beside her to look at the body. "Strangled." Lucifer lifted his eyebrows and looked at the purple, swollen neck. He then walked away from the body and towards the containers where a fortklift was parked near where a truck had pulled up. "If I'm correct... truck pulled up here, bad person used forklift to nab my container, started to put it on the truck when the unlucky sap there came up so bad person killed the sap, put the container on the truck, and the truck drove away with MY property." Lucifer's eyes narrowed as he looked at the scene.

Tyra smiled, "good story, but it's not going to help us, let's check for finger prints on the body, then we might get your robber and murderer" Tyra said, smoothing her vest.

Lucifer came back to glance at the body one more time before his head snapped up. "I have something to take care of." He said with a steely hard gaze, taking off in a long stride back towards his vehicle. "Sorry to leave you hanging... but detective? Please do not follow me." He turned to look back at her, meeting her gaze before turning and getting in the car, quickly driving away. Lucifer went to a small motorcycle club very close to where the man had been murdered. He spotted the mark of a ring where the killer had strangled the deceased... and the ring had the same emblem as this club used. Lucifer got out and strutted right in, clapping his hands. "Tony, get over here. Now." He called in a loud voice, icy daggers slicing through the air. The crowd of drunken men parted and one swaggered through, looking just as rough as the rest with a scar across one eye and the same ring. "What do you want, Lucifer." The man said in a gravelly voice. "I want you to return that favor. Someone was just murdered after seeing someone else steal MY property, and this emblem was imprinted on the victim's neck. Your emblem. Care to tell me anything?" Lucifer said cooly. The man observed the photo for a moment, a hint of something flashing in his eyes. "Every biker here wears that emblem. You're not going to figure out who it is, and I can't keep track of all my men." The man retorted. "Ah, well, that's where the favor comes in that YOU owe me, Tony. Who murdered this poor sap, and who stole the equipment?" Lucifer narrowed his striking amber gaze. "... It might have been Luke. He has been running wild these past few weeks. I don't know where he was when that happened." The man answered with a tense jaw, turning away. "Where is Luke now." Lucifer asked. The man just shrugged and walked off into the crowd. "Unruly bastards..." Lucifer growled under his breath, readjusting his suit jacket before exiting. He then saw a motorcycle drive away quickly, as if in a hurry, so he jumped in the car to follow. It led him to an old abandoned warehouse. The person on the motorcycle jumped off, looked around warily, and ran into the building. "Gotcha." Lucifer smiled slyly, entering the same building. When the man, obviously Luke, saw him, Luke freaked out, pulled out a gun, and fired off a shot. The bullet hit Lucifer square in the chest. "Ouch, I was speaking! Let me finish, mouse." Lucifer winced but otherwise seemed unharmed. He was the devil, of ourse, not like anybody believed it till they saw it. Luke's eyes widened with fright and he dropped the gun, running and climbing to the top of the warehouse. Lucifer followed at a walk, opening the door to the roof where Luke was standing, trembling, with no where else to go. Lucifer's eyes flashed a devilish red and the man screamed. "Spare me oh please! I'm sorry! T-they are in the shipping container still I-I'm sorry for looking! Spare me!" The man whailed. "Where. Is. The. Container." Lucifer snarled, his eyes flashing red again. A crimson, fiery red that burned with a devilish glow. "It's downstairs! I'm sorry!" Luke screamed again and stumbled backwards, falling to his bottom and scrambling backward further, dangerously close to the edge. "Are the wings still in it!" Lucifer roared, his face flashing with the face of a devil. It turned red with his glowing red eyes and sharp, blood stained fangs. Luke screamed in terror and threw himself off the ledge. "NO!" Lucifer lunged forward, flailing and trying to save the man but failing. He heard a thud on the sidewalk below, a pain stabbing at his heart. "No- I didn't mean to kill him- it wasn't supposed to happen this way!" Lucifer clenched his jaw and balled his fists.
