Tanner got pushed only about a step back, being signifigantly bigger than Trix. T "If you want to play mean, Trixie, we can. Im not always this nice. You, of all people, should know that." He said, his tone becoming quite sinister as he advanced on her so he was looking down at her again. Trix still held her ground. "I do." She said, gritting her teeth. "But I would prefer if you let me deal with my own affairs." She forced out in as polite a tone as she could. T "I don't care what you prefer, but you need to step aside before you get what's coming to you." He said, raising an arm to cross them over his chest. Trix flinched at the movement and took a half step back, running into the table and looking to the side. "Please, Tanner. I can handle myself." She side quietly, essentially submitting. Tanner glared down at her and scoffed, looking up at Sal. T "Just you wait until my pretty little Trix isn't protecting you." He growled, turning on his heel and storming off. Trix stayed where she was, gaze downcast, for a moment.

He felt as though he was impeding and turned his head toward his drink, watching from the corner of his eye though. His expression was flat, just listening to them fight over him and who was better and more capable. Or something. He clenched his jaw, looking up at Tanner as he condescendingly commented on the fact that Trix wouldn't kill him before he stomped off. "Moody. Do you want me to stay?" He asked calmly, as if he hadn't just been threatened.

"You don't have to leave, no." She said quietly, slowly turning around and regaining her seat, looking signifigantly different than she had just a few minutes ago. "Sorry you had to deal with him. He can... be a bit abrasive." She huffed, shaking her head and forcing a small smile for him, doing her best to seem unbothered. "Anyway, where were we again?"

He nodded softly, she seemed a bit defensive and frazzled. "It's fine, not the first time I've been threatened as if I wasn't here." He said absently, taking a sip. "I believe we were talking about the weather." He gave a half smile and wiped it off as quickly as it happened. "I like colder weather, work is hard when you're too hot."

"Oh, right. Well, I used to love colder weather but now it just isn't as pleasing as it used to be." She shrugged, looking out the window quietly and watching a young girl with her parents, swinging from their arms. "Work can be hard in the cold too, though."

He followeded her eyeline to a little family outside. He glanced back to her. "I don't like it too cold, just crisp cold. Spring is my favorite season." He sighed, reminded of the sweet flowers in the spring. He looked up at her again, finishing off his tea.

"I used to love Spring and Fall. I usually leaned toward fall because its generally cooler, but now, as you can probably guess, summer is more preferable to me." She shrugged, turning to look back at him and curling her legs up again.

He narrowed his eyes. "Spring has all the green stuff in it i can't help it." He joked, a small smile escaping. He let it stick. "I should probably go though. I'm sure we'll find each other again somehow." He glanced around the cafe, then at her. He put money on his table for the drink and sat up.

Trix let out a small chuckle at his joke. "It's happened twice so far; im sure it'll happen again." She smiled. "It's been nice speaking with you, Versailles. Don't be a stranger." She joked, staying curled up against the window.

He nodded standing up. He waved with one finger and his thumb. "Yes, same for you." He backed up, then turned and walked out the cafe door. He wasn't sure if he wanted to see her again, but yknow he may have been a little wrong. She was at least not unpleasant company.
