| Gladius Me too, but luckily I have no other debt aside from my student fees but those aren’t paid off directly in my country so I don’t have to worry about it. It’s costing me less than $100 a fortnight to pay off and I don’t have may other bills so it’s feasible for me. | red - oh absolutely. I mean I'm the same kinda person insofar as I prefer not to take on debt if I don't have to but as long as you have a plan to pay it off in a timely fashion and it's within your means it's really not a world-ending issue. and a lot of times rent places want you to bay first month's rent plus deposit up front among other various fees and often that's just not doable without a stop-gap measure |

| Yeah I took a small loan out just to cover the bond and costs of moving + furniture. I’m earning enough to pay it off quickly so it’ll be fine :) my parents are just very weird about debt but there’s almost no other options these days. Especially while I’m still in uni |

| pssh. a loan for the first bit of rent isn't awful. just be sure to pay a little more than the principle every payment and it'll be gone in no time |
