She clenched her teeth, HATING for that to happen literally AS SOON as she met Sage. She stood, looking slightly weak because her head was still ringing. "I'm assuming you want an explanation..?" She murmured

Sage cocked his head slightly when the girl finally spoke up. He had to admit, he was a bit worried. "only if you want," he hummed. "I know some secrets need to be kept," he admitted. "But are you alright," he asked. He didn't know her very well, but she'd been nice to him, so he was admittedly a bit worried about her. He wasn't thrilled about getting married, but he figured it could be a much worse match.

"Oh I'm fine... Noel. And you kind of are going to figure out the truth sooner or later if we are going to be together for the rest of our days." She shrugged, wincing. "Well... simple. I can read minds, of humans and animals, and I can talk to animals. Sahara could understand me when's I said come back here, but she chose not to listen. What comes with this is sometimes the voices get louder and louder until there's just a shrieking inside my head, which causes immense agony, though I'm sure yours is usually worse so I think doesn't matter much." She explained, then, wanting to get off the topic, asked, "So where are the best rivers to swim in around here?"

Sage cocked his head slightly and gave the girl an impressed look. "So you can read my mind? That's cool," he admitted. "I might have to use you to figure out whats wrong with Chaos over there," he joked, reaching out a hand to help the girl up. "It's up north a ways. Are you up for a ride," he asked, cocking his head curiously, rather similar to the way a wolf would.

She laughed. "Yes, I'm always up for a ride." She took his hand, standing and then jumping onto Sahara. (No easy task saying that: there's no stump or anything: she's only 5'5 : and Sahara is 15.3 hh) Quinn looked at him daringly. "Lead the way."

Sage chuckled lightly and gave the girl another grin before leaping into chaos, who was already prancing around ready to run. "Follow us then," he hummed lightly before letting the stallion take off, leaning into his mane happily as they led the way to the stream.

(Haha yeah, sage is a bit taller than Quinn, but chaos is like 17 hands so he's tall)

Sahara took off after Chaos like a bullet till Quinn was neck and neck with Sage. She grinned at him, perposefully not pulling ahead considering she's didn't know where to go.

They reached the river soon, and Quinn jumped off. She smiled, looking at the cool river.

Sage gave the girl a wide grin when they pulled up neck and neck and urged chaos faster and faster before letting him slow down once they got to the lake. It was sort of surrounded by trees and vines, with a clear stream on the inside of the clearing. It was a pretty little place, and as soon as he got off, chaos went to splash around in it.
