Aria walked to the edge of the forest. "Training." She hummed. "Sounds... intense." She chuckled. The girl stood should to shoulder next to Sage. She grinned back and sighed. The girl crossed her arms and pursed her lips. A cold breeze came out of the trees. Aria shivered.

Sage shrugged. "Not really ..I'm either hacking at a wooden pole of another knight," he hummed. "It just gets hot...one of the reasons I don't like wearing armour." He glanced back at the girl. "Besides, even what we're doing with self defense is technically training."

"Hm." The girl huffed. "I hope it's hot. I'm cold." Aria said with a soft chuckle. She shrugged. "I guess you can call it training." She said looking over at Sage. "I'm excited. Just for the defense part." The girl laughed. Aria smiled up at Sage.

Sage chuckled. "you'll get warm enough I think. It's not completely void of all light and warmth," he noted with amusement. He gave the girl a grin. "It always fun to do something with someone who isn't all serious and boring," he hummed lightly, ducking under a branch with a grin as the entered the clearing. "We're here," he chirped.

"I hope so." Aria said. She smiled back and met his eyes. "Yeah. I mean you are kinda boring." The girl joked, giggling a little. She looked into the clearing as she followed Sage in. It was beautiful. The light shined through the trees perfectly.

Sage snorted and gave the girl an amused look. "Do you have w eapon," he asked. "We can try different stuff out if not and see what you like," he mused, wandering over to a spot under a tree root where he'd hidden all sort of weapons.

Aria looked over at Sage and stuck her tounge out playfully. She shook her head. "Nope. Didn't bring any weapons. Sorry!" The girl shot Sage an apologetic look. Aria followed him to the tree. "Wow. That's some... stash?" She chuckled.

Sage shrugged. "Doesn't matter. I didn't tell you to bring one." He grinned over at the girl. "I use them more often than my dad thinks," he admitted. "Hunting and stuff " he shrugged and tossed the girl a slender sword she could pretty easily swing about. "Get a feel for that. Looks like it would work well for you," he mused.

Aria crossed her arms and rolled her eyes playfully. She smirked when he looked at her. "At least you're using them for something other that fighting." She joked. The girl grabbed the sword and swung it around. "This will work." Aria smiled over at Sage.

Sage grinned and shrugged. "I have to fight plenty too," he admitted. "But I avoid it if I can." He nodded when she said the sword would work. "Great," he chirped. "but for now, how about we do defense without a sharp thing?"
